    Abstract: A control system for a vehicle traveling in a first direction on a road segment is presented. The vehicle has a driver support function for autonomously maneuvering the vehicle, and the driver support function is capable of operating within an operational design domain (ODD) including a road safety barrier metric and a road characteristics metric. The control system comprises control circuitry configured to obtain data comprising information about a surrounding environment of the vehicle. The information includes road safety barrier data and road characteristics data. Further, the control circuitry is configured to determine a fulfilment of the ODD based on the obtained data by determining a fulfilment of the road safety barrier metric and the road characteristics metric based on the road safety barrier data and the road characteristics data, respectively.

    Abstract: A control system for an ego-vehicle traveling in a first direction in a first lane on a road segment is presented. The vehicle has a driver support function for autonomously maneuvering the vehicle. The control system includes control circuitry configured to obtain sensor data including information about a surrounding environment of the vehicle. The control circuitry determines a relative velocity of at least one external vehicle traveling in a second lane adjacent to the first lane based on the obtained sensor data. Moreover, the control circuitry is configured to generate a control signal in to control an availability of the driver support function for the road segment based on the comparison in order to make the driver support function available for an occupant of the vehicle if at least one external vehicle of the external vehicle(s) has been confirmed to have a relative velocity below the maximum velocity threshold.

    Abstract: A switching device for breaking an electric current including a main contact carrier, movable and stationary main contacts, the movable contact attached to the main contact carrier, an arcing contact carrier, a movable and stationary arcing contacts, the movable arcing contact attached to the arcing contact carrier and the stationary arcing contact arranged in parallel with the stationary main contact, and an actuating unit for the main and arcing contact carriers between open and close position at an actuating distance, wherein there are separation distances between the stationary and movable contacts of the main and arcing contact units respectively when the current is interrupted. The switching device further includes a first rack and a first gear for actuating the arcing contact carrier so that, when interrupting the current, a separation distance between the arcing contacts is longer than a separation distance between the main contacts.
