    Abstract: A two part assembly consisting of a bracket that attaches to the frame of reclining chaise lounge style chairs to support the function of a Lever Arm that attaches to the seat back support arm and allows the user to easily adjust the angle of the seat back from a seated position. The support bracket mounts to the frame of the chair in order to support and guide the Lever Arm and is not limited to a specific frame design. The Lever Arm is attached to the back support arm of the seat and controls its movement utilizing handles that are accessible by the chairs occupant from a seated position. The assembly can be retro-fitted to existing chairs or incorporated into the design of new chairs during the manufacturing process.

    Abstract: A startup circuit for starting a power converter for converting an input voltage to an output voltage includes a switch connected in series with a resistive element. The startup circuit is connected in parallel with a trigger switch in the power converter for enabling the power converter to generate the output voltage. When closed or activated, the switch in the startup circuit charges an energy storing device in the power converter. The energy storing device activates the trigger switch as the charge is released.
