  • Publication number: 20240170169
Abstract: A housing assembly configured to house a reactor is disclosed. The housing assembly includes a plurality of modular walls configured to surround the reactor and a passive temperature control system. The plurality of modular walls includes a first modular wall. The passive temperature control system is coupled to the first modular wall. The passive temperature control system is configured to transfer heat between the reactor and an area around the housing assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240160800
Abstract: The disclosed simulation environment, methods, and system support simultaneous design and analysis of assemblies with unified computer aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA). The system provides a simulation environment that is unified with the architecture of the assembly environment, which significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to set up structural simulations as compared to prior simulation tools. The system enables CAD designers to obtain accurate mechanical guidance such as strength and rigidity early and often in the design process, seeing the structural impact of CAD modifications at the sketch, part, and configuration level. Such guidance can be particularly helpful when CAD engineers are determining product fit and form, defining dimensions, and shaping the overall weight and volume of designs.

  • Publication number: 20240141649
Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing photocatalytic coated ceramic granules. The method involves providing a coatable composition containing an inorganic binder and a variety of photocatalytic particles, such as TiO2, ZnO, Ti(OH)4, doped derivatives, or combinations thereof. These photocatalytic particles have a surface area per weight of no more than 15 m2/g. The coatable composition is then applied to uncoated base ceramic granules, resulting in intermediate coated granules. Finally, the intermediate coated granules are heated at a temperature of at least 700° C., leading to the formation of photocatalytic coated ceramic granules. These granules exhibit a Total Solar Reflectance (TSR) value of at least 0.7. This method offers an efficient and effective way to produce ceramic granules with enhanced photocatalytic properties.

  • Patent number: 5514744
Abstract: A combined alumina, cement and gypsum product comprises 100 parts by weight of alumina cement, 10 to 100 parts by weight of an aqueous polymer precursor emulsion (Component A), and 15 to 600 parts by weight of a hemi-hydrate gypsum (Component B). Component A preferably comprises a thermosetting acrylic resin, and Component B is preferably an alpha-hemihydrate gypsum or an anhydrous or retarded plaster. Aggregates, reinforcing materials or other additives may be incorporated into the product. The product is preferably prepared by mixing together Component A and the alumina cement to form a precursor slurry, then mixing together the precursor slurry and Component B, and allowing the mixture to cure.
