  • Publication number: 20220063346
Abstract: A tire for two-wheeled motorized vehicle having tread connected by sidewalls to beads, each having circumferential reinforcing bead wire, each contacting a rim on which the tire is mounted, the tire has an indicator system of a plurality of cavities formed on tread surface, each cavity having maximum depth less than 1 mm and average width of less than 3 mm, and arranged in a plurality of circumferential sets of cavities) representing different camber angles of the tire, each circumferential set having plurality of cavities arranged in circular arc, wherein two adjacent cavities are spaced along circular arc by circumferential pitch (Pc) between 1 mm and 10 mm, the circumferential sets arranged in specific radial pattern defined by a radial pitch (Pr) corresponding to spacing in radial direction between circular arcs of two adjacent circumferential sets of cavities, the radial pitch (Pr) being between 1 mm and 10 mm.

  • Patent number: 10377183
Abstract: The tread includes over at least a first axial part (M) at least one wavy groove in a first direction and wavy grooves in a second direction. The wavy grooves in the second direction are connected to the wavy groove in the first direction. Over at least a second axial part (B) of the tread, at least one wavy groove continuous in a third direction, and wavy grooves continue in a fourth direction. The wavy grooves in the fourth direction are connected to the wavy groove in the third direction. When new, the open parts of the first axial part (M) are connected to one another, and the open parts of the second axial part (B) are not connected with one another. Beyond a part-wear condition, the open parts of the second axial part (B) are connected to one another, and the open parts of the first axial part (M) are not connected with one another.

  • Patent number: 10308076
Abstract: A tire (1) made of rubber material, comprising a tread (2), said tread having a tread surface (20) intended to come into contact with a road surface when the tire is being driven on, this tread surface having, in cross section, a certain curvature. The tread surface (20) comprises, over at least 80% of its surface, a texture (3) contrasting with the rest of the tire, this texture (3) having a plurality of elements that protrude from or are recessed into the tread surface (20), and each element extends perpendicularly (?=90°)to the tread surface (20) along the curvature of this tread surface (20).
