Publication number: 20260123770Abstract: A frame for a foldable playard includes multiple leg support assemblies rotatably coupled to multiple X-frame assemblies. Each leg support assembly includes a corner. The corners include a topper mount socket and the X-frame assemblies include one or more topper supports. The topper mount sockets and the topper supports provide multiple locations along the top periphery of the frame to securely couple and support one or more toppers. For example, the frame may support a topper that provides a changing table and an organizer. The changing table or the organizer is rotatable to provide the caregiver more storage space or the ability to deploy and/or store the changing table while the topper remains installed. In another example, the frame may support a freestanding and collapsible bassinet topper via a bassinet accessory. The bassinet topper provides a support platform without any additional structural support from the frame or the bassinet accessory.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2025Publication date: May 7, 2026Applicant: Wonderland Switzerland AGInventors: Jonathan M. Pacella, Nathanael Saint, Lance J. Clemmer, Patrick JG Bowers

Publication number: 20260020693Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a playard assembly and is also directed to a topper assembly. The topper assembly includes connectors in corner regions of the topper assembly that are configured to engage with connectors defined in corner regions of the playard. Actuators for controlling the engagement between the respective connectors are provided along lateral portions of frame members of the topper assembly. Mating magnetic elements can also be provided in the connectors of the topper assembly and playard assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2023Publication date: January 22, 2026Applicant: WONDERLAND SWITZERLAND AGInventors: Lance J. Publication number: 20250386954Abstract: A play yard includes a plurality of corner posts, a plurality of rails, a floor structure and at least one soft good assembly. Each of the plurality of corner posts includes a first guiding component. Each of the plurality of rails is connected between two adjacent corner posts. The floor structure is connected to the plurality of corner posts. The soft good assembly includes soft goods, a soft goods connector and a second guiding component. The soft goods connector is fixed to the soft goods. The second guiding component is connected to the soft goods connector and adapted to be detachably assembled with the corner post via the first guiding component for tensioning the soft goods.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 21, 2025Publication date: December 25, 2025Applicant: Wonderland Switzerland AGInventors: Jonathan M. Publication number: 20250386950Abstract: The invention may telescopically connect the first support member and the second support member together or pivotally connect the first support member to the pivot hub on the bassinet, such that the bassinet can be adjusted to various heights for a given situation. Furthermore, the bassinet may be adjusted to a desired height and then placed in a play yard without requiring additional components. Since the bassinet of the invention can be used alone and can also be used with the play yard, the bassinet of the invention is more flexible in use than a conventional bassinet.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 20, 2025Publication date: December 25, 2025Applicant: Wonderland Switzerland AGInventors: Lance J. Clemmer, Jonathan K. Mountz, Jonathan M. Pacella

Publication number: 20250375046Abstract: A bassinet accessory for a foldable playard, wherein the bassinet and playard are folded and unfolded together. When unfolded, the bassinet is relatively shallow from a top of the playard so that a caregiver may more easily place a child into, and remove the child from, the bassinet. A bassinet mattress is supported by a central hub on the bottom of the bassinet and four support tubes coupled to the hub and extending to respective bottom corners of the bassinet. During folding, the bassinet hub travels in a vertical direction and the support tubes rotate from a horizontal to a vertical position, becoming parallel with respective legs of the playard. Thus, in the compact folded configuration, the bassinet hub is surrounded by and within the folded frame of the playard or flush with the top of the playard (so as not to appreciably extend beyond a top of the playard).Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2025Publication date: December 11, 2025Applicant: WONDERLAND SWITZERLAND AGInventor: Jonathan M. Publication number: 20250295248Abstract: A frame for a foldable playard includes multiple leg support assemblies and X-frame assemblies that provide and maintain clearances in accordance with consumer safety standards when the playard is fully folded, fully unfolded, or between the folded and unfolded configurations. These assemblies further facilitate a compact size in the folded configuration. Each leg support assembly includes a leg tube, a corner, and a slider where the corners and the sliders have arms rotatably coupled to the X-frame assemblies. For each pair of adjacent leg support assemblies, the respective arms of the sliders and the corners are dimensioned to provide the desired clearances while being offset such that the respective arms of the sliders and the corners overlap one another when the frame is folded, thus facilitating a compact size of the folded frame. The frame may also include a storage latch to lock the frame in the folded configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2025Publication date: September 25, 2025Applicant: Wonderland Switzerland AGInventors: Jonathan M. PACELLA, Lance J. CLEMMER

Publication number: 20250268398Abstract: A foldable playard includes a frame defining an interior space when unfolded and soft goods partially disposed within the interior space to define a partially enclosed space for a child to play and/or sleep. The frame includes multiple leg support assemblies and multiple X-frame assemblies that couple adjacent leg support assemblies together. The X-frame assembly is positioned near the top of the frame when the playard is unfolded such that the X-frame assembly functions as a top rail to mechanically reinforce the playard. In this manner, the playard does not include a separate compliant or rigid top rail or a bottom support structure, thus reducing the number of parts for manufacture. Additionally, the playard includes a single latch mechanism to maintain the playard in the unfolded configuration. The playard may also include an optional canopy cover assembly mounted to the frame to provide shade for the child.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2025Publication date: August 28, 2025Applicant: WONDERLAND SWITZERLAND AGInventor: Jonathan M. Publication number: 20250268396Abstract: A foldable playard includes a plurality of vertical tubes, a plurality of X-typed frames and a latching mechanism. Each vertical tube includes a bar member, a corner and a slider. The corner is affixed to top of the bar member. The slider is movably disposed on the bar member. Each of the X-typed frames is rotatably connected between two adjacent vertical tubes via the corner and the slider. The latching mechanism includes a latch body and a locking portion. The latch body includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other, and the first end being disposed on the corner of one vertical tube. The locking portion is disposed on the second end. The locking portion is adapted to engage with and disengage from one X-typed frame rotatably connected to the slider on the said vertical tube in response to motion of the latch body.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2025Publication date: August 28, 2025Applicant: Wonderland Switzerland AGInventor: Jonathan M.
