Abstract: A frame for a foldable playard includes multiple leg support assemblies rotatably coupled to multiple X-frame assemblies. Each leg support assembly includes a corner. The corners include a topper mount socket and the X-frame assemblies include one or more topper supports. The topper mount sockets and the topper supports provide multiple locations along the top periphery of the frame to securely couple and support one or more toppers. For example, the frame may support a topper that provides a changing table and an organizer. The changing table or the organizer is rotatable to provide the caregiver more storage space or the ability to deploy and/or store the changing table while the topper remains installed. In another example, the frame may support a freestanding and collapsible bassinet topper via a bassinet accessory. The bassinet topper provides a support platform without any additional structural support from the frame or the bassinet accessory.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a playard assembly and is also directed to a topper assembly. The topper assembly includes connectors in corner regions of the topper assembly that are configured to engage with connectors defined in corner regions of the playard. Actuators for controlling the engagement between the respective connectors are provided along lateral portions of frame members of the topper assembly. Mating magnetic elements can also be provided in the connectors of the topper assembly and playard assembly.

Each of the plurality of corner posts includes a first guiding component. Each of the plurality of rails is connected between two adjacent corner posts. The floor structure is connected to the plurality of corner posts. The soft good assembly includes soft goods, a soft goods connector and a second guiding component. The soft goods connector is fixed to the soft goods. The second guiding component is connected to the soft goods connector and adapted to be detachably assembled with the corner post via the first guiding component for tensioning the soft goods.

Abstract: The invention may telescopically connect the first support member and the second support member together or pivotally connect the first support member to the pivot hub on the bassinet, such that the bassinet can be adjusted to various heights for a given situation. Furthermore, the bassinet may be adjusted to a desired height and then placed in a play yard without requiring additional components. Since the bassinet of the invention can be used alone and can also be used with the play yard, the bassinet of the invention is more flexible in use than a conventional bassinet.
