    Abstract: A method for managing trust level in a community comprises selecting a data provider and a data entry entity from the community, wherein the community comprises data providers providing provided data, data entry entity providers providing data entry entities, and reviewers, obtaining provided data and a trust level of the provided data from the data provider, retrieving a data entry quality level of the selected data entry entity from a community system, wherein the community system comprises data entry quality levels corresponding to the data entry entities, and determining a data source trust level based on the trust level of the provided data and the data entry quality level of the selected data entry entity, wherein the data source trust level indicates validity of data produced by the selected data entry entity.

    Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that automatically inserts account-data into a tax-form. During operation, the system receives account-data at a server from a data-provider. The system also receives a tax-form at the server from an application. Next, the system automatically analyzes the account-data to determine a data-map which maps the account-data to the tax-form without assistance from a user. Finally, the system inserts the account-data into the tax-form by applying the data-map to the account-data.

    Abstract: A web service includes a web service manager for servicing an originating message received from an originating client application, wherein the originating message has verification information a data package having an encrypted portion. The web service manager verifies that the originating message originated from an authorized originating client application, using the verification information. An identifier generator creates a data package identifier associated with the data package and a location within a data package store used for storing the data package. A message generator generates a notification message which is sent to a receiving computing system. Upon receipt of at least a portion of the notification message from the receiving computing system, the web service manager retrieves the data package from the data package store and initiates transfer the data package to the receiving computing system.
