  • Patent number: 11602870
Abstract: A bulk roll cutting apparatus with a safety linkage is used to prevent inadvertent gravitational falls of a blade. The apparatus has a frame holding the blade, the blade is movable between a cutting position and a retracted position. In the cutting position, the blade is positioned proximate to an arbor. At least one link arm is movably connected to the frame. An actuator connects between the at least one link arm and the blade. An adjustment device connects between the at least one link arm and the frame. The adjustment device controls a cutting depth of the blade relative to the arbor. A safety linkage connects between the at least one link arm and the frame, and the safety linkage prevents an inadvertent gravitational fall of the blade.

  • Publication number: 20220408268
Abstract: Methods for improving resource connectivity for users' various computing devices are disclosed. An example method may include establishing a local connection with a sending device, receiving device status information and task status information from the sending device using the local connection, the task status information identifying at least one media content, and generating a user interface that includes a graphical representation of the device status information and a first control that, when selected, executes the at least one media content in an application on the receiving device. Another example method may include detecting an interaction with a UI element that sets a network sharing status to an on state, identifying a locally stored network as shareable, generating an instance of a network data type for the locally stored network, and associating the instance with the user account so that the locally stored network is shared with the user's other devices.

  • Patent number: 10572130
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for controlling power generation plant operations via a human-machine interface. In one embodiment, a method can provide: receiving a user selection of a power generation plant component in a first navigation menu of a human-machine interface (HMI); based at least in part on the user selection, generating a second navigation menu of the HMI; receiving a subsequent user selection of a subcomponent in the second navigation menu of the HMI, wherein the subcomponent is associated with the power generation plant component; generating a control region for the HMI, the control region operable to manipulate the subcomponent; receiving a user input for the control region; and based at least in part on the user input, facilitating manipulation of one or more operations of the subcomponent.
