Abstract: A method and computer program are provided for managing and operating a dental practice. The dental practice includes a computer system having an application server and a database. The method and computer program include inputting patient data via a web browser into the application server, encoding the one or more operations using a non-proprietary format, storing the patient data and the encoded one or more operations in the database, and displaying to a user the patient data in the web browser. The patient data includes one or more operations.

Abstract: A dental system for dental patients at a dental office is disclosed that is completely digital in storage of data. The data is obtained from instrumentation and patients, as well as from staff. The data is used to operate the dental office and treat the patients. Non-linear Web technology is applied to the data to functionally use the data in treatment and facility operation.
