  • Publication number: 20250086217
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for filtering a dataset. The apparatus may receive, via a user interface, a natural language input for a search of the dataset. The natural language input is an unstructured input. The apparatus maps the unstructured input to one or more filters associated with the natural language input based on execution of a generative AI model. The mapping of the unstructured input transforms the unstructured input into a structured input. The apparatus outputs, via the user interface, a result of the search based on an application of the one or more filters to the dataset.

  • Publication number: 20250069489
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a device and method of controlling monitoring of a person or an environment. The method comprises determining information about a person or an environment using an output of an operation of an active reflective wave detector configured to measure wave reflections from an environment. The method further comprises, based on the information, adapting one or more parameters of a triggering module used for starting a later operation of the active reflected wave detector to determine further information about the person or the environment, the later operation being started based on an output of a PIR motion detector that is arranged to monitor motion in the environment, the output indicating that a motion has occurred after said operation of an active reflective wave detector.

  • Publication number: 20250064531
Abstract: Surgical systems and methods involve a first and second trackers with trackable elements and which are independently secured to a bone and separated by a distance. A localizer tracks the trackable elements. Controller(s) define a tracking arrangement based on a combination of the trackable elements from the trackers. The controller(s) register a geometry of the tracking arrangement relative to the bone and track the bone by detection of the registered geometry. The controller(s) detect a condition wherein at least one trackable element has been displaced relative to the registered geometry. The controller(s) register a position of an anatomical landmark of the bone and use the landmark to identify the at least one trackable element that has been displaced.

  • Patent number: 12237799
Abstract: Methods of operating electric motor systems that comprise electric motors comprising a rotor having a magnet mounted thereto. The electric motor is initially operated in an open loop mode in which the rotor angle is estimated based on the input voltage frequency. Once the motor is running at sufficient speed, a transition to closed loop mode operation is performed, wherein the rotor angle is determined using an observed back EMF. To provide a smoother open loop to closed loop transition, the rotor angle is determined during a transition period as a function of both the open loop rotor angle and the closed loop rotor angle.

  • Publication number: 20250031999
Abstract: A person support apparatus, such as a bed, stretcher, cot, recliner, or the like, includes an exit detection system having a plurality of force sensors that support the weight of an occupant positioned on a support surface. The force sensors are part of an exit detection system that issues an alarm when the occupant exits, or is about to exit, the person support apparatus. The distribution of weight applied to the force sensors is used to determine if the occupant is about to exit the person support apparatus. Compensation is made to the exit detection system for changes in the weight distribution that are not caused by movement of the occupant. Such changes may be due to siderail movement, support surface pivoting, and/or movement of other components of the person support apparatus.
