  • Patent number: 11264786
Abstract: An apparatus used in securing together a bundle of conductors has a support structure with an edge surface having a plurality of notches provided in the edge surface. Each notch of the plurality of notches has an open space dimensioned for receiving a bundle of conductors in the open space. A plurality of clamps are provided that are attachable to the edge surface with each clamp extending over a notch of the plurality of notches and over a bundle of conductors positioned in the open space of the notch. The clamps attached to the edge surface of the support structure over the bundle of conductors positioned in the notch in the edge surface secures the bundle of conductors in the open space of the notch.

  • Publication number: 20140187945
Abstract: An ultrasound probe (10) comprises a pair of one dimensional transducer modules (1, 2) arranged in-line but set apart from each other in a shallow “V” shape. This allows a wide gap for needle manipulation while maintaining the ability to compute a good acoustic image of the target area (4) on an ultrasound scan engine. The ultrasound image is a product of data from both the arrays. The probe (10) is shaped to allow ergonomic manipulation possibilities for the anaesthetist. The probe can be held in a ‘pencil-type’ grip anywhere on the main body, or by pushing directly on the back of arrays. The shape of the probe, means it sits in position better on a patient than a conventional probe.

  • Publication number: 20110314052
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable enhanced searching of data, particularly for larger volumes of data where the data has a plurality of attributes. Conventional search systems require complex and intelligent search input from a user or require a large amount of processing power and complex database access functionality to process searches based on complex data. The system described uses predefined search criteria, wherein each search criterion is associated with at least one attribute. In one aspect, images are stored together with an association with a search criterion. The images are provided for display to a user and input is received from the user to select at least one image and therefore the search criterion and attribute associated with the image. The items of data are searched to retrieve items having the at least one selected attribute and a first intermediate list of identifiers of the retrieved items is stored.
