  • Publication number: 20240056353
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed that process requested changes to operating parameters of an Internet of Things (IoT) device. In some embodiments, a client computing device originates a requested change to the IoT device. An IoT services system may process the requested change and determine whether an early indication of success is appropriate. If an early indication of success is appropriate, the IoT services system, prior to the requested change being applied to the IoT device, transmits to the client computing device a first message that provides an indication of success for the requested change.

  • Publication number: 20220086008
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems for authenticating physical objects using digital fingerprints. The system may be hosted on a digital computing server and may include a storage layer for storing a plurality of digital fingerprints. To authenticate objects, multiple users may securely access an authentication layer of the system through a users layer. The digital fingerprints corresponding to a particular class of objects may then be loaded into working memory and used to authenticate objects in the particular class. The storage layer may store digital fingerprints extracted from many different classes of objects so that many different types of objects may be authenticated using the system.

  • Patent number: 10815748
Abstract: A unitary body includes magnesium and aluminum and at least one of iron, tungsten, nickel, or titanium and has a dissolution rate of at least 5 mg/(cm2·hr). The magnesium and aluminum and/or the iron, tungsten, nickel, and/or titanium can be present in discrete solid regions. The unitary body can include multiple sections having different compositions and different dissolution rates. The unitary body can be formed using solid-state powder metallurgy processes.

  • Patent number: 10557695
Abstract: A skeletal composite material includes an internal skeleton structure surrounded by a matrix material. The skeleton structure and the matrix are made of different materials having different properties. It should be appreciated that the skeleton structure and the matrix can be made of any suitable material including metal, ceramic, carbon, polymers, or combinations of these materials. Preferably, the skeleton structure and/or the matrix are made primarily of metal or ceramic. The skeletal composite material can be made by filling a skeleton structure with powder, compacting the skeleton structure and powder to form a preform, and consolidating the preform to form the skeletal composite material.
