  • Publication number: 20240152245
Abstract: A computer system displays a first object that includes at least a first portion of the first object and a second portion of the first object and detects a first gaze input that meets first criteria, wherein the first criteria require that the first gaze input is directed to the first portion of the first object in order for the first criteria to be met. In response, the computer system displays a first control element that corresponds to a first operation associated with the first object, wherein the first control element was not displayed prior to detecting that the first gaze input met the first criteria, and detects a first user input directed to the first control element. In response to detecting the first user input directed to the first control element, the computer system performs the first operation with respect to the first object.

  • Publication number: 20240152256
Abstract: A computer system concurrently displays, via a display generation component, a browser toolbar, for a browser that includes a plurality of tabs and a window including first content associated with a first tab of the plurality of tabs. The browser toolbar and the window are overlaying a view of a three-dimensional environment. While displaying the browser toolbar and the window that includes the first content overlaying the view of the three-dimensional environment, the computer system detects a first air gesture that meets first gesture criteria, the air gesture comprising a gaze input directed at a location in the view of the three-dimensional environment that is occupied by the browser toolbar and a hand movement. In response to detecting the first air gesture that meets the first gesture criteria, the computer system displays second content in the window, the second content associated with a second tab of the plurality of tabs.

  • Publication number: 20240140492
Abstract: The technology employs a holistic approach to passenger pickups and other wayfinding situations. This includes identifying where passengers are relative to the vehicle and/or the pickup location. Information synthesis from different sensors, agent behavior prediction models, and real-time situational awareness are employed to identify the likelihood that the passenger to be picked up is at a given location at a particular point in time, with sufficient confidence. The system can provide adaptive navigation by helping passengers understand their distance and direction to the vehicle, for instance using various cues via an app on the person's device. Rider support tools may be provided, which enable a remote agent to interact with a customer via that person's device, such as using the camera on the device to provide wayfinding support to enable the person to find their vehicle. Ride support may also use sensor information from the vehicle when providing wayfinding support.

  • Publication number: 20240124670
Abstract: An open cell foam, and particularly aerogels or other foams, having an inorganic, hydraded phase change material (PCM) embedded within pores or cells or a network within the foam have fire retardant, fire resistant and thermal insulating properties. These composite materials are preferably monolithic in character, and are mechanically robust allowing for example the attachment of nails or screws. With the PCM distributed throughout the open cell foam, the composite material has a wide array of applications including providing thermal, fire resistant, and fire retardant uses in battery containers, in automotives and other vehicles, etc.

  • Patent number: 11938475
Abstract: In an example of the method, a functionalized coating layer is applied in depressions of a patterned flow cell substrate. The depressions are separated by interstitial regions. A primer is grafted to the functionalized coating layer to form a grafted functionalized coating layer in the depressions. A hydrogel is applied on at least the grafted functionalized coating layer.

  • Patent number: 11693909
Abstract: In some embodiments, a data server generates an open data reference specifying a location for storing report data associated with a report. To generate the report data, the data server generates a data query based on a report definition that describes how the report data associated with the report is generated. The data server executes the data query on source data to obtain the report data and causes the report data to be stored on a storage device at the location specified by the open data reference. The report data can be retrieved via a network using the open data reference for integration within a third-party application. The data server further generates updated report data by executing, on the source data, an updated data query generated based on the report definition and has the report data stored on the storage device to be replaced with updated report data.

  • Patent number: 9442224
Abstract: A lens array for imaging image elements in an object plane, and a method of making a lens array. The lens array includes lenslets formed in or on one side of a transparent or translucent material with the image elements disposed on the opposite side, and has a gauge thickness corresponding to the distance from the apex of each lenslet to the object plane. Each lenslet has a set of lens parameters. The gauge thickness and/or at least one lens parameter is or are optimized such that each lenslet has a focal point size in the object plane which is either substantially equal to the size of the image elements in the object plane, or varies from the size of the image elements by a predetermined amount.
