Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for magnetically actuating a gate valve of a subsea system via external magnetic actuation from a magnetic actuator. The magnetic actuator is disposed externally around a valve cavity such that motion of a valve stem disposed within the valve cavity can be controlled externally through magnetic coupling with the magnetic actuator such that a physical link (and the dynamic pressure seals associated therewith) is not needed to actuate the valve stem.

Abstract: A system and a method for remote operation of a well equipment through a marine riser comprising a first module and a second module connectable to a landing string in the marine riser. The first module includes a communication module, batteries, and a control module; the second module includes a plurality of reservoirs for fluid, one or more pumps, a plurality of motors, a plurality of valves, and a control unit. The control module controls the one or more pumps, and the control unit controls the plurality of motors and the plurality of valves. The first module supplying electric power from the batteries of the first module to the one or more pumps and the plurality of motors of the second module, and the first module supplying communication data from the control module of the first module to the control unit of the second module.

Abstract: A blast-resistant glazing system comprises a sheet of blast-resistant glazing material, such as laminated glass, and an elongate retaining member. The retaining member has two spaced opposed lips for receiving an edge region of the glazing sheet therebetween. Each one of the lips lies adjacent a respective one of the major surfaces of the sheet. The glazing sheet is provided with a respective outwardly extending projection on each major surface of the sheet. Each projection interlocks with a respective one of the lips so that withdrawal of the edge region of the sheet from between the lips is resisted by engagement between the projections and the lips.

Abstract: The Revolution Snowboard Binding Rotation & Riser System (RSBRRS) creates an interface between snowboard and binding enabling a user to adjust rotation angle of the binding. It is designed to be compatible with all types of boards, normal boot sizes, bindings, stances and adjusts quickly while stationary or in motion. The RSBRRS is comprised of several parts; fixed base plate (FIGS. 7A-G), top rotation plate (FIGS. 6A-G), hinged release lever (FIGS. 8A-G), toe/heel supports (FIGS. 10A-G), fixed ‘dummy’ riser plate (FIGS. 9A-G) and associated hardware for each piece (FIGS. 2, 3, 4). Activating the release lever and rotating the binding, a rider can adjust to preferred stance thus relieving twisting pressure on the knee. This ability to rotate parallel to the direction of travel eliminates the knee twisting, but also has the added benefit of allowing the board to fit neatly on the footrests while seated on chairlift.
