  • Patent number: 11243114
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining at least one beam propagation parameter (M2, w0, ?, z0) of a laser beam, comprising: directing the laser beam through a lens arrangement towards a spatially resolving detector, imaging the laser beam at a plurality of different focus positions (F1, . . . ) relative to the spatially resolving detector by adjusting a focal length (f1, . . . ) of the lens arrangement, and determining the at least one beam propagation parameter (M2, w0, ?, z0) by evaluating an intensity distribution (l(x,y)) of the laser beam on the spatially resolving detector at the plurality of different focus positions (F1, . . . ). The method comprises adjusting the focal length (f1, . . . ) of the lens arrangement by arranging lens elements (A1, . . . ; B1, . . . ) having different focal lengths (fA1, . . . ; fB1, . . . ) in a beam path of the laser beam.

  • Publication number: 20220006254
Abstract: A method for adjusting a laser beam includes, following passage of the laser beam through a beam-shaping device, measuring, via a detector of a detector device, a beam profile of the laser beam. The method further includes determining a beam quality property of the laser beam based on the measured beam profile and altering an adjustable optical unit for modifying at least one property of the laser beam prior to the entry into the beam-shaping device. For adjusting the laser beam, the adjustable optical unit is altered based on the determined beam quality property.

  • Patent number: 10460086
Abstract: Plural modes of operation, each associated with a class attribute, may be established on a mobile device. The present application discloses a method of handling an application launch request, a computing device for carrying out the method and a computer readable medium for adapting a processor to carry out the method. The method includes receiving a launch request identifying an application that is to be launched, acquiring an identity for the application, acquiring a class for the application, labeling the application with the identity and the class and launching the application. The application's identity and class may then be taken into consideration when processing a request to access a store or create a new store. Notably, an application may request access to a store managed by a certificate manager, rather than accessing the store directly. Conveniently, a resource manager may handle parsing of a file path to the store.

  • Publication number: 20180149972
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of conducting chemical reactions below the diffraction limit. The method comprises providing a composition comprising or consisting of at least one photoenol, initiating a reaction which emanates from the photoenol at a selected site by irradiation with light of a first, photoenol-activating wavelength, and concurrently or thereafter, suppressing the reaction emanating from the photoenol in the immediate vicinity of the selected site by irradiation with light of a second, photoenol-deactivating wavelength which creates an interference pattern having an intensity minimum or zero intensity at the selected site.

  • Patent number: 9426145
Abstract: Plural modes of operation may be established on a mobile device. Specific modes of operation of the mobile device may be associated with specific spaces in memory. By using a “class” designation within the existing certificate store structure and key store structure, certificates and keys can be assigned to one space among plural spaces. Accordingly, a personal certificate store and a personal key store may exist in a personal space. Similarly, a corporate certificate store and a corporate key store may exist in a corporate space. APIs designed to work within such a system may be arranged to employ a “class” attribute when managing certificates and cryptographic keys.

  • Publication number: 20130174249
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methodology for providing secure control over stored metrology parameters. A random number key is generated and associated with identifiable information such as a serial number associated with a device. The random number and identification information are stored in a database separate and remote from the device. Alteration of the stored metrology parameters are permitted only upon use of the random number as a key to unlock the device.
