    Abstract: A glass bowl for a door assembly of a washer including a housing, a tub inside the housing, the tub having a rotating drum, the door assembly having a see-through portion for viewing into the tub, the see-through portion including the glass bowl, the door assembly pivotably coupled to the housing and movable between an open and closed position. The glass bowl includes a base portion for securing the glass bowl to the door assembly, and a bowl portion configured to extend into the interior of the housing, wherein the bowl portion includes a sidewall extending from the base portion toward the interior of the housing, a first bowl face that faces toward the interior of the housing and an indentation formed in an upper surface of the sidewall that guides at least a portion of water or washing fluid flowing downward onto the glass bowl toward the rotating drum.

The tub includes a tub body, a heater pocket integrally formed in a lower portion of the tub body, the heater pocket forming a cavity in fluid communication with the drum, the heater pocket for at least partially surrounding a heating element for heating a fluid in the tub, and a fluid guide on an interior surface of the tub, the fluid guide one of guiding the fluid from the tub body into the heater pocket and disrupting a fluid ring formed in the tub body during rotation of the rotatable drum.

Discharge openings are located on the paddle toward the front of the drum for discharging liquid therethrough. A baffle arrangement in the paddle directs the liquid collected from the intake openings to the discharge openings upon rotation of the drum to place the paddle into a top location. A drum arrangement and washing machine includes at least one such paddle mounted thereon.

    Abstract: An extendable-retractable step system for a recreational vehicle (RV) has a step tread attached to a slider rod via side arms that include one or more locking tabs, and includes a pair of end plates having tab-receiving slots and notched slider slots that define extended and retracted positions. A method of assembling the step system and mounting same to a vehicle frame without using specially adapted tools includes the steps of mounting one of the end plates to the vehicle frame, inserting the ends of the slider rod into the slider slots, mounting the other end plate to the vehicle frame, and resting the locking tabs in the tab-receiving slots.
