Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products, for map data collection. An anchor point creation mode is activated on a mobile data collection device when the mobile data collection device enters a geographical anchor point creation area. In the anchor point creation mode, the mobile data collection device collects and streams mapping raw data to a remote computing device. A high definition map of the anchor point creation area is created by combining received raw data with mapping data from other data sources. After the map has been created, when a mobile data collection device enters the anchor point creation area, information from the map is used in a data capture mode to refine a determination of a position and/or orientation of the mobile data collection device, and a position and/or orientation of one or more features detected by the mobile data collection device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for generating a map of physical features in a physical environment. Feature datasets are received from several mobile agents. A feature dataset includes data describing a detected physical feature, a geolocation of the feature, and a timestamp representing when the physical feature was detected. The geolocation data for the different feature datasets are integrated into a map of the physical environment and displayed to a user. One or more regions of interest are identified on the map. The regions of interest include geographical areas for which no feature datasets or an insufficient number of feature datasets have been collected. In response to identifying the regions of interest, one or more mobile agents are instructed collect supplemental feature datasets for the regions of interest. The map is updated with the supplemental feature datasets for the identified regions of interest.

Abstract: A process for treating dissociated zircon comprises reacting dissociated zircon with gaseous hydrogen fluoride at an elevated reaction temperature. The reaction temperature is controlled to obtain at least one desired zirconium-based compound and at least one desired silicon-based compound.
