Abstract: One or more alerts are received at the electronic device. In some embodiments, the device determines how notifications corresponding to the alerts should be output to the user at the device. In some embodiments, the device determines whether to output respective content corresponding to the alert based on one or more criteria. For example, if a request is detected within a time threshold, the device outputs the respective content; if the request is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed, the device forgoes outputting the respective content.
