Publication number: 20240138038Abstract: The invention provides for a DC brush-arc furnace comprising a vessel 12 and first and second electrodes 16, 18. A first DC power supply 20 supplies power to the electrodes. A first conductor 26 extends parallel to the first electrode, so that a first current flows in a first direction through the first conductor and in a second opposite direction in the first electrode. A second conductor 28 extends parallel to the second electrode, so that the current flows in the first direction in the second electrode and in the second direction in the second conductor. An arc deflection compensation system 30 comprises a second DC power supply 32 and a compensation circuit 34 comprising a first compensation conductor 36 and a second compensation conductor 38. The second DC power supply causes a second current to flow through the first compensation conductor in the first direction and through the second compensation conductor in the second direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2020Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Frederik Petrus GREYLING, Jonathan Graeme LENNOX

Publication number: 20240099621Abstract: Methods and systems for recommending at least one patient interface device from among a plurality of patient interface devices for a patient. The methods and systems monitor an initial stress response of the patient upon being exposed to each of the potential patient interface devices of the plurality and from such monitoring select a device or devices that produce lesser stress responses.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: CORNELIS PETRUS HENDRIKS, JOYCE VAN ZANTEN, PEDRO MIGUEL FERREIRA DOS SANTOS DA FONSECA, JOACHIM JOHANNES KAHLERT, DAAN ANTON VAN DEN ENDE, JONATHAN SAYER GRASHOW

Patent number: 11932314Abstract: A disclosed modular truck bed assembly includes two or more modular truck bed components configured to form a modular truck bed suitable for use with a bedless truck. The modular truck components may include two or more modular components that combine to form a multi-piece bed panel. The modular components that combine to form the multi-piece bed panel may include a center bed module attached between left and right wing bed modules. The center bed panel may be affixed to structural elements of the bedless while the wing bed modules may be attached to the center module. The center bed module may include a center bed panel, with or without a gooseneck hitch, and a center trail panel, without or without a trailer hitch. The assembly may include a vertically adjustable bulkhead positioned forward of the center bed panel and either side of the assembly may include a skirt.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Trailboss Equipment, LLCInventors: Greg Chumchal, Jonathan Petru, Benedict Orsak, Howard Henderson
