Abstract: An endoscope is provided. The endoscope includes a support body; a shaft mounted to the support body; a micro motor mounted in the support body; a flexible tip mounted to the shaft; and a directional cable. The directional cable is operably coupled to the micromotor at a first end and to the flexible tip at a second end and extends through the shaft. The flexible tip is configured for movement to a plurality of positions relative to the shaft through movement of the directional cable under control of the micro motor.
