Abstract: A method and system for femoral condylar resection arthroplasty (FCRA) of the knee, which preserves the undamaged meniscus, whether by arthroscopy or arthrotomy, and only replaces the damaged area of the femoral condyle. In one embodiment, both the distal and posterior femoral condyle are replaced with a two piece femoral two-piece distal and posterior femoral condyle component. This two piece component has a metal piece and a plastic piece removably attached in a tongue and groove arrangement. This arrangement allows the plastic piece to be removed when converting the FCRA into a unicompartmental arthroplasty.

The method and system also includes a box retractor having four right angle blades, two for medial structures and two for lateral structures. The blades are at two depths, shallow and deep. The components of the system are preferably of plastic material.

Abstract: A method for benefits administration is described. A benefit plan is provided, comprised of a Health Care Account and an Umbrella Account. Through financial incentives, benefit plan beneficiaries are encouraged to spend funds in the funded Health Care Account and the funded Umbrella Account so that, at the end of the benefit plan year, unspent funds are distributed back to the beneficiaries. A method of health management is also described, comprising a Health Team to provide health care services and health management to a group of benefit plan beneficiaries. The Health Team is designed to maintain the well being of the group, to maximize efficient spending of health care dollars. A clinical information system is also described, comprising a third party administrator component, a health management component, and a health risk assessment/medical history component.
