    Abstract: A rotary impeller for a tailings conveyor of an agricultural combine, for threshing tailings and propelling the tailings through a portion of the conveyor, including a mounting portion mountable to a rotatable member for rotation in a predetermined rotational direction about a rotational axis, a plurality of blades extending generally radially outwardly from the mounting portion, each of the blades including a surface facing in the rotational direction including a radially outermost threshing portion for threshing the tailings and propelling the tailings in the rotational direction through the portion of the conveyor, and a tailings deflecting portion disposed between the threshing portion and the mounting portion, the tailings deflecting portion having a convex shape for deflecting and directing tailings contacted thereby during the rotation in a radially outward direction into a rotational path of the threshing portion so as to be threshed thereby and accelerated through the conveyor.

    Abstract: The extension has an elongate blade shape and is positionable in radially outwardly extending relation along a leading edge of a rotor inlet flight, the blade having a leading edge located forwardly of the leading edge of the flight so as to rotate in advance thereof. The leading edge preferably has a curved, swept back shape relative to the rotational direction, which gradually increases in slope in the radial outward direction, so as to facilitate smooth acceleration of the crop material in the radial outward direction. The extension has a rearwardly facing blade or crop flow surface oriented at an angle of attack less than the angle of attack of the associated flight, so as to be less blunt and to facilitate smooth crop material flow onto the flight. The extension shape generates a rearwardly directed air flow when rotated.

    Abstract: A fan for a cross flow fan assembly, including a plurality of elongate fan blades supported in an axial cylindrical pattern about a rotational axis by disk shape fan blade mounting members located adjacent ends of the blades. The fan blades have radial outer end portions defining an outer diameter of the fan, radial inner end portions opposite the radial outer end portions, and curved intermediate portions between the radial outer end portions and the radial inner end portions, respectively. Each of the fan blades is oriented such that the radial outer end is at about a 28° angle to a line tangent to the fan diameter at the outer end portion thereof, and the radial inner end portion is directed radially inwardly directly toward the axis or such that a line tangential to the radial inner end portion will pass through the axis.
