  • Publication number: 20230240672
Abstract: Devices and methods for affixing reinforcing material to a fascial incision in an abdominal wall to reinforce and augment closures thereof. The device includes first and second arms, each having a proximal end and a distal end extending away from a housing with a length therebetween. The distal end of the first arm is spaced from the distal end of the second arm such that the first and second arms are engageable with reinforcing material on opposing sides of a fascial incision. One or more fixation elements are deployable from the distal end of at least one of the first and second arms to affix the reinforcing material on opposing sides of the fascial incision.

  • Publication number: 20210137340
Abstract: A floor scrubber cleaning system includes a a combustion engine powered floor scrubber using at least one rotating scrubbing brush. A tank or reservoir is used for supplying a cleaning solution for cleaning a floor. A heat exchanger heats the cleaning solution flowing from the tank using hot exhaust gasses from the floor scrubber.

  • Patent number: 9898015
Abstract: A system for regulating pressure in a fluid supply pipe, including a valve operated by a double acting piston cylinder and in which the chamber of the cylinder, the pressure of which acts on the piston to move the rod in the direction for closing the valve, communicates with the transmission mechanism for transmitting the instantaneous hydraulic pressure at a point of the pipe. The chamber of the cylinder, the pressure of which acts on the piston to move the rod in the direction for opening the valve, is connected to an energy accumulator accumulating energy in the form of pressurized gas at a predetermined pressure P0, which can be regulated.

  • Patent number: 6477979
Abstract: A emergency indicating and signaling device for indicating the area of an emergency. The emergency indicating and signaling device includes a housing having a tubular configuration and wall having a top edge and a bottom edge. A balloon and launch device is extended in a top opening of the housing defined by the top edge. The balloon and launch device includes a helium containing gas canister, a biasing member biasing a strike pin toward the canister, and retaining pin extended through the biasing member. A balloon is positioned over the canister. Removing the retaining pin causes the strike pin to puncture the canister such that air flows from the canister and into the balloon. An elongated cord has a first end coupled to the housing and a second end coupled to the balloon for holding the balloon to the housing after it is inflated and floats into the air to signal for help.
