  • Publication number: 20240076790
Abstract: A self-cleaning CO2 reduction strategy is proposed herein including alternating operation and regeneration of the CO2 electrolysis system. The strategy includes application of short and periodic reductions in applied voltage, thereby avoiding saturation and prevention of carbonate salt formation.

  • Patent number: 9018564
Abstract: A plastic window system including a transparent plastic panel and an electrically conductive grid provided on the plastic panel. The conductive grid includes at least one conductive mounting location. An electrical terminal is electrically connected to the conductive mounting location, and a connector secures the terminal to the conductive mounting location. The connector includes a portion extending from the panel to a location outboard of the conductive mounting location relative to the panel.

  • Patent number: 7169499
Abstract: Polyphosphazene polymers having at least one sulfonated pendent group, and no more than five different sulfonated pendent groups, repeated along the polymer chain, wherein at least one the repeated sulfonated pendent groups links at least one SO3? group to the polymer chain through a nitrogen-free linkage containing at least three carbon atoms, are disclosed, along with methods of making same, and uses therefor.

  • Publication number: 20060204746
Abstract: A plastic panel and method of application for vehicle windows is disclosed. The plastic panel includes: a base layer; a weatherable film layer having a first and second surface, wherein the first surface of the film layer is adhered to the base layer; and an abrasion resistant layer adhered to the second surface of the weatherable film layer. The abrasion resistant layer is useful for protecting the weatherable film and base layers from damage caused by abrasion.

  • Publication number: 20050202263
Abstract: The present invention provides a protected layered system for a component assembly. The protected layered system includes a plastic panel and at least two protective layers formed integrally with the plastic panel. One protective layer is configured as a barrier layer that reduces the loss of an additive suspended, and not covalently bonded, in the structure of any underlying protective layer or the plastic panel. The weathering performance exhibited by the component assembly is similar for various colored or tinted plastic panels or protective layers.
