  • Patent number: 12601569
Abstract: A system for projecting high voltage electrical discharges along laser filaments in air has a high voltage electrical discharge device operable to generate and discharge a high voltage electrical discharge. A laser assembly has at least one laser operable to produce laser electrically conductive laser filaments in air. An electrode is electrically connected to the high voltage electrical discharge device and configured to direct a high voltage electrical discharge at a breakout point of the electrode. The electrode breakout point is disposed in relation to the at least one laser such that when electrically conductive laser filaments are created in air by the at least one laser the high voltage electrical discharge at the breakout point is caused to travel along the electrically conductive laser filaments in air.

  • Publication number: 20260014445
Abstract: A ball pitching device features an inlet for sequentially receiving balls, a feed chute, and a linearly movable pusher within the chute. An elbow tube, including perpendicular sections, extends coaxially from the feed chute and is rotatable about its longitudinal axis. The device includes a wheel assembly with opposingly spinning wheels aligned coplanarly, positioned to engage balls directed by the pusher and the elbow tube. The assembly is adjustable between top and bottom angular positions around a horizontal axis, enabling various launch angles. In the top position, ranging between 82° and 87°, it mimics a toss or dink or close-range hand-feed toss based on the shooting wheels' speed.

  • Publication number: 20240067455
Abstract: A part registration system for registering one or more parts relative to a robot having a robotic arm that defines a plane of optimal reach at a vertical position is provided. The part registration system includes a tray support rack, a tray support shelf and a tray transfer arrangement. The tray support rack is configured to support a plurality of trays for holding one or more parts. The tray support rack has a plurality of tray support regions in which one or more trays may be supported. The plurality of tray support regions are at different vertical positions. The tray support shelf is vertically adjustable relative to the tray support rack. The tray transfer arrangement transfers the trays between the tray support rack and the tray support shelf. Methods are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20160139628
Abstract: A wearable device having a display and a touchscreen is disclosed. The device is capable of interfacing with and controlling remotely controllable devices. The device is capable of sensing swipes, touches, and gestures, which are mapped to custom command and control functions. Swipes and touches may be with one finger or multiple fingers simultaneously, Gestures may be any motion limited only by the sensitivity of the motion sensing devices. In alternative embodiments, the device further consists of a speaker and microphone to allow spoken commands to be used in conjunction with, or replace, swipe, touch, and gestures to enhance the efficiency or ease of use of the device. In other alternative embodiments, the device may connect to a remote controllable device through a cloud, internet, or cellular network.
