    Abstract: A method and apparatus for changing an automatic cooking program in an electric oven is disclosed. A parameter of the cooking program, such as cooking time, is automatically altered in response to a property of the electricity supplying the oven, such as line voltage. The method and apparatus are particularly well suited for use in ovens utilizing halogen tungsten lamps as sources of heat.
