Abstract: Systems and methods to preserve wildlife and enable remote wildlife tourism are described. A system for a remote wildlife viewing includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to control a set of one or more drones with cameras. The processor is configured to enable a user to log onto one or more of the drones to capture one or more wildlife images using one or more of the cameras. The processor is configured to display the one or more wildlife images on a user device.

Abstract: The system described herein enables clinicians and researchers to use aggregated genetic and phenotypic data from clinical trials and medical records to make the safest, most effective treatment decisions for each patient. This involves (i) the creation of a standardized ontology for genetic, phenotypic, clinical, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and other data sets, (ii) the creation of a translation engine to integrate heterogeneous data sets into a database using the standardized ontology, and (iii) the development of statistical methods to perform data validation and outcome prediction with the integrated data. The system is designed to interface with patient electronic medical records (EMRs) in hospitals and laboratories to extract a particular patient's relevant data. The system may also be used in the context of generating phenotypic predictions and enhanced medical laboratory reports for treating clinicians.

Abstract: Data objects are organized into attributes and can be acted upon using predefined actions and associated types to greatly simplify user accessibility to such data objects through the limited user interface and bandwidth capabilities of a mobile device. Each data object is associated with a numerical identifier such that the user can easily identify a data object of interest using the limited data entry capabilities of the typical mobile device.

Abstract: A spoken request for directory assistance is placed through a mobile telephone in a conventional manner and data representing information responsive to the request is placed in an easily accessible and actionable database for subsequent retrieval. Actions designed for the type of information, including navigation directions for information which includes a location, are associated with the information and made available to the mobile telephone. Each of these actions are available to the user with only a few key clicks on the reduced keypad of the mobile telephone and initial specification of the place of interest using the same reduced keypad is avoided by allowing the user to simply speak to identify the place of interest.
