Publication number: 20170169004Abstract: A system and method for creating and managing electronic forms is described. The system includes a processor configured to receive an image of a form and receive, via a network interface, form template information specifying at least a first input field. The form template information includes a first input field type selection and first field location information for the first input field. The first input field type is selected from a plurality of input field types and the first field location information is defined relative to the image. The processor stores the form template information within a memory. The electronic form is configured to be rendered by superimposing a representation of the first input field over the image of the form.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2016Publication date: June 15, 2017Inventors: Jason Craven, Jeff Fildey, Jason Freitas, Jonathan McIntire, Andrew Stevens, Jonathan Stevens

Publication number: 20170100662Abstract: An interactive computer game is described which works in conjunction with a number of physical modules that a user can connect together in different ways to form a coherent physical whole object. The game receives data from the object via a wireless link, the data identifying at least which modules form part of the object and updates game play based on the data received. At some point within the game play, the game presents an objective or goal to the user which the user can only achieve by interacting with the physical object formed from the modules. In an embodiment, this interaction comprises re-arranging the modules or swapping modules to form an object with a different visual appearance, moving all or part of the object and/or interacting with a sensor on a module in the object. The game may receive further data from the object during the user interaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2016Publication date: April 13, 2017Inventors: James William Scott, Haiyan Zhang, Nicolas Villar, Greg Saul, Alexandra Keeley Bunting, Lee Jason Schuneman, Philip Robert Harrison, Jonathan Steven Robinson, Sabina Lopez-Moreno, Simone Rita Thomas, Patrizio Spadoni, Alex Hall, Tariq Adaci, Levi Naess, Sebastien Rene Vandenberghe, Alma Coyolxauhqui Salinas-Lopez, Simon Jay Carter

Publication number: 20110208667Abstract: A method for reducing emissions from a plurality of moving assets includes receiving trip pattern data corresponding to positions and times from the moving assets and the preference data from a plurality of users. A database of trips made by the moving assets is then generated based on the trip pattern data and trip consolidation opportunities for the moving assets are identified based on the generated database. The method also includes ranking the trip consolidation opportunities based on the preference data and utilizing the ranked trip consolidation opportunities to provide shipping recommendations designed to reduce fuel consumption of the moving assets.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2010Publication date: August 25, 2011Applicant: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANYInventors: Patricia Denise Mackenzie, Qing Cao, Joseph James Salvo, Roman Brusilovsky, Joseph Edward Jesson, Jonathan Steven Muckell

Publication number: 20110099464Abstract: Methods and apparatus for adding content from a search to a document or message such as an electronic mail message are disclosed. A graphical user interface may be provided, where the graphical user interface includes an input portion and a template for generating a document or message. A query including one or more search terms may be received via the input portion of the graphical user interface. Search results associated with the query may be obtained. The search results associated with the query may be provided. A user selection may be received, where the user selection selects at least a portion of the search results. A hypertext link or content from the search results may be added to a document or message generated (or being generated by) via the template, wherein the hypertext link or content from the search results is added to the document or message in response to the user selection.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2010Publication date: April 28, 2011Applicant: YAHOO! Publication number: 20100179849Abstract: A method for identifying backhaul opportunities is provided. The method includes receiving data corresponding to a position, time and status from a plurality of vehicles. The method includes generating a database of trips made by the plurality of vehicles based on the data received, wherein each of the trips is identified with a start point and an end point. The method also includes determining similarity between the trips to cluster the trips, wherein said determining comprises comparing a spatial distance between respective start points and respective end points with a pre-determined distance criteria. The method further includes identifying a frequency of each of the trips clustered made by the plurality of vehicles, wherein each of the trips are actual routes traveled between respective start points and respective end points. The method also includes generating a model for historical vehicle movement based on the identified frequent trips.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2009Publication date: July 15, 2010Applicant: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANYInventors: Jonathan Steven Muckell, Patricia Denise Mackenzie, Daniel John Messier, Joseph James Salvo, Qing Cao

Publication number: 20100168219Abstract: Neutrophils (PMN) can migrate along gradients of chemoattractants across endothelial monolayers to sites of inflammation and infection. This chemotaxis through endothelial cell borders is involved in several acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, however our understanding of the role of endothelial second messengers in the regulation of leukocyte emigration is still incomplete. We investigated this using an in vitro model of neutrophil migration across human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and human microvascular endothelial cells (HMECs) on cell culture inserts. We report that activation of endothelial protein kinase C (PKC) by both phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) and Bryostatin-1 (a potent PKC? and c activator) can completely abolish neutrophil migration mediated by both endothelial TNF-? stimulation and a leukotriene B4 (LTB4) gradient. PMA protected against LTB4 induced PMN transmigration for at least 24 hours in HMECs and HUVECs.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2008Publication date: July 1, 2010Inventor: Jonathan Steven Alexander

Patent number: 7005019Abstract: A flow meter is disclosed that is comprised of a base, a driver, pick-offs, and a flow tube made from a fluoropolymer substance. The base of the flow meter is comprised of a first leg and a second leg. The first leg includes a tube opening and an adhesive opening and the second leg includes a tube opening and an adhesive opening. The flow tube passes through the tube openings of the first leg and the second leg. The tube opening of the first leg has a diameter slightly larger than the flow tube to create a gap between the tube opening and the flow tube. The adhesive opening of the first leg provides access to the gap so that adhesive may be applied to the flow tube and an inner surface of the tube opening to affix the flow tube to the base. The adhesive opening in the second leg performs the same function.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2001Date of Patent: February 28, 2006Assignee: Emerson Electric Co.Inventors: Gary Edward Pawlas, Mark James Bell, Matthew Glen Wheeler, Daniel Patrick McNulty, Jonathan Steven Ash, Leland Charles Leber
