The system includes a first information handling system and a second information handling system. The first information handling system creates a software bundle. The second information handling system receives the bundle from the first information handling system, and executes an executable included in the bundle. The executable changes a configuration of the second information handling system from a first operating state to a second operating state.

Abstract: Currently, network forwarding elements, such as application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), provide several high-speed ports. However, in some cases, the number of ports they provide is not enough. A common solution to increase the number of available switched ports involves interconnecting multiple switching elements in a fabric topology. Such approaches add cost and complexity while reducing reliability. Accordingly, embodiments herein improve data handling for high data applications without significantly increasing network costs, complexity, or network cabling. Embodiments use fewer switches by configuring high-speed cables as a set (or sets) of parallel lanes operating at lower speeds. The parallel lanes may be connected to a network information handling system (e.g., an Ethernet switch) that comprises multiple network processor units arranged in a parallel configuration, which facilitates parallel data handling.

Abstract: Presented herein are embodiments for automatically generating a multi-fabric design. In one or more embodiments, a multi-fabric design generator system comprises a plurality of generative machine learning models that, given a graph specification for a desired multi-fabric network, generates a set of preliminary graphs. The preliminary graphs may be input into an ensemble model that comprises a reinforcement learning module, which may be trained to select the best components from the various models to create a tailored design according to specific design criteria and customer requirements or constraints. Thus, given a set of desired requirements (e.g., latency, resistance to congestion, cost, scale, bijection, etc.), the multi-fabric design generator system generates a multi-fabric design that fulfills that set of requirements; thereby providing the ability to generate customized designs for each customer based on their requirements (e.g., technical, business, and regulatory).

Abstract: A usage-based cost structuring system includes a computer-executable tool for obtaining, using a power monitor coupled to at least one of a plurality of equipment devices configured in a computing rack, ongoing power consumption measurements of the at least one equipment devices at ongoing intervals. Using the measurements, the instructions may estimate an energy consumption of the equipment device by combining the obtained power consumption measurements over a specified period of time, and determine a cost to be assessed to a user of the at least one equipment device according to the estimated energy consumption.

Abstract: A data center information retrieval system includes a computer-executed device information retrieval application in communication with first and second devices configured in a data center. Each device includes one or more elements that provide a service for the data center. The application obtains and stores one or more first element records associated with one or more of the elements of the first device in a database, and communicates with a modular software component to obtain information associated with the corresponding one or more second elements of the second device, the modular software component translating information obtained about the second elements to a format similar to that of the first element records.

Abstract: A stack-based resource management system includes a computer-executed tool for managing the resources used to execute a distributed application. The tool uses a distributed computing environment protocol stack having multiple layers that each represents one or more resources used to execute a distributed application. The resources in each layer have one or more inter-layer dependencies to one or more resources of an adjacent layer. When the tool receives configuration instructions to configure one or more resources, it configures that resource, and identifies one or more inter-layer dependencies to resources in adjacent layers to configure those resources in the adjacent layers. The tool then sequentially traverse up and down the adjacent layers of the protocol stack to resolve any of the dependencies among the resources of each adjacent layer of the protocol stack.

The system includes a difference module, residing in at least one computer. The difference module is operable to extract differences between a source environment for an application and a target environment for the application. The system includes a rule-based module, residing in the at least one computer. The rule based module is operable to cooperate with the difference module in applying a plurality of rules to the differences to produce a plurality of weighted differences, each rule of the plurality of rules operable to apply a weight to an environmental difference, the weight quantifying impact, risk, or relevance, of the environmental difference to operability or failure of the application.

Abstract: A method, system and computer-readable media for analyzing application environments is provided. Embodiments of the invention includes generating a first representation of a first environment for an application and a second representation of a second environment for the application. Determining differences between the first representation and the second representation and determining relevance to the application of each of the differences as to a likelihood of failure of operation of the application in the second environment where at least one method operation is executed through a processor.
