  • Publication number: 20240131306
Abstract: Medical devices including a balloon and methods of making medical devices including a balloon are provided. The medical device includes a tubular element, a balloon, and a barrier between the tubular element and the balloon. When air is pushed into one end of the medical device, the balloon may be inflated. The method includes applying a barrier to a tubular element, applying an elastomer solution to the barrier and at least a part of the tubular element to form a coating, and curing the coating to form the balloon.

  • Publication number: 20240123197
Abstract: Medical devices including a balloon-actuated sheath are provided. The medical devices include a tubular body, a tooltip, a balloon, and a tubular sheath translatably coupled to the balloon. Medical devices including a balloon-actuated distal cap are provided. The medical devices include a tubular body, a tooltip, a balloon, and a distal cap translatably coupled to the balloon. When air is pushed into one end of the medical device, the balloon may inflate, translating the tubular sheath or distal cap along a longitudinal axis from a retracted position to an extended position. When in the extended position, the tubular sheath at least partially surrounds the tooltip. When in the extended position, the distal cap at least partially opens fluid communication between the tooltip and the environment.

  • Publication number: 20220116423
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of generating in a display a dynamic accessibility diagram representing a firewall configuration of a firewall in a computer network. A computer generates in the display a pair of concentric rings representing the firewall, including outer and inner concentric rings each having segments respectively representing remote address ranges and local address ranges of the ACL rules. Selection of a segment causes generation of an accessibility curve between the selected segment and a pairing segment, thereby graphically representing accessibility between the corresponding remote and local address ranges.

  • Patent number: 11258763
Abstract: A computing device is configured to retrieve network security configuration information from a computer network and generate a security configuration map which readily enables a user to detect defects in the security configuration with respect to a security policy. The computing device retrieves firewall configurations from security appliances in the network which operate firewalls, and processes the firewall configurations to generate a set of corresponding standardized firewall configurations. These are processed to identify enclaves containing network nodes which are associated with respective security sensitivity values based on the security policy. The computing device monitors and detects inter-node network traffic.

  • Patent number: 10449089
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for reprofiling a surface of a cornea of an eye ablate a portion of the cornea to create an ablation zone with an optically correct central optical zone disposed in a central portion of the cornea, and a blend zone disposed peripherally to the central optical zone and at least partially within an optical zone of the eye. The blend zone can have an optical power that gradually diminishes with increasing radius from the central optical zone.

  • Publication number: 20180157478
Abstract: In one general aspect, a method can include receiving, by a server and from a computing device, a request for a web application, accessing, by the server, a real-time database responsive to receiving the request, identifying a version of the web application for deployment to the computing device, and identifying at least one criterion for the deployment of the identified version of the web application. The method can further include, based on determining that the at least one criterion for deployment of the identified version of the web application is fulfilled by the requester, retrieving the identified version of the web application from the real-time database, and providing the identified version of the web application to the computing device.

  • Publication number: 20180064579
Abstract: Systems and methods for removing an epithelial layer disposed over a stromal layer in a cornea irradiate a region of the epithelial layer with a pulsed beam of ablative radiation. The ablative radiation is scanned to vary the location of the beam within the region in accordance with a pulse sequence. The pulse sequence is arranged to enhance optical feedback based on a tissue fluorescence of the epithelial layer. The penetration of the epithelial layer is detected in response to the optical feedback. The use of scanning with the pulse sequence arranged to enhance optical feedback allows large areas of the epithelium to be ablated such penetration of the epithelial layer can be detected.
