  • Publication number: 20210319431
Abstract: In embodiments a system for tokenizing a token is disclosed. The system includes an interface configured to handle a unique identifier a first digital token that is tokenized in accordance with a first protocol. The method also includes a cryptographic token generation system that generates a second digital token, the second digital token is tokenized in accordance with a second protocol. The system further includes a linking system that generates a one-to-at-least-one cryptographic link between the second digital token generated by the cryptographic token generation system and the first digital token, such that the second digital token provides a unique digital tokenization of the first digital token. The system includes a ledger update system that writes the second digital token to a cryptographic ledger in accordance with the second protocol, thereby facilitating transactions involving the first token using the second digital token protocol.

  • Publication number: 20210319432
Abstract: In embodiments, a system for tokenizing tokens is disclosed. The system includes an interface configured to handle a token identifier for a first token, wherein the first token is a cryptocurrency. The system also includes a token generation system that generates a second token that represents a defined quantity of the cryptocurrency represented by the first token. The system also includes a linking system configured to generate a one-to-at-least-one link between the second token and the first token, such that the second token provides a unique tokenization of the first token. The system includes a messaging system integrating the handling of cryptocurrency exchanges into a messaging protocol, wherein the messaging system automatically executes exchange of the cryptocurrency from a first user to a second user upon sending a message from the first user to the second user that has the second token embedded therein.

  • Publication number: 20210248594
Abstract: Systems, methods, platforms, and devices that generate, store, transact, transfer, exchange, and/or otherwise process digital tokens are described. In embodiments, systems, methods, platforms, and devices obtain an identifier for an item that includes a set of item attributes, generate a digital token including a set of digital attributes that correspond to the set of item attributes, and cryptographically link the digital token to one or more units of the item. The digital token may be transferred, exchanged, redeemed, or otherwise transacted, which provides both the flexibility and convenience of virtual item transactions and the reliability and value of physical item transactions.

  • Publication number: 20210082044
Abstract: According to embodiments of the present disclosure decentralized loan processes are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a request to initiate a loan process that indicates a collateral item. The method also includes generating a collateral token corresponding to the collateral item. The method further includes instantiating a loan process smart contract instance that is configured to manage a loan process in accordance with a loan process workflow, wherein the loan process smart contract instance that is configured to instantiate a loan smart contract receives a loan agreement notification indicating one or more loan term parameters of a loan that was agreed to by a lender and the borrower and to manage repayment of a loan based on the one or more loan term parameters. The collateral token is locked in an escrow account stored on a distributed ledger until the loan is fully repaid or in a default state.

  • Publication number: 20190303926
Abstract: A system and methods are described for utilizing smart contracts in a public blockchain to coordinate, document, and execute loan transactions. A contract deployed to the blockchain is accessible to borrowers to add a loan request to the public blockchain and to lenders who will evaluate the loan request and offer a loan. A loan agreement and repayment may also be deployed to the blockchain. A third party transfer agent may use the public blockchain to transfer non-digital or programmatically inaccessible assets as part of the loan agreement.

  • Publication number: 20190303892
Abstract: A system for transferring digital assets using smart contracts deployed on a blockchain-based cryptocurrency. Guilds associated with various types of digital assets provide smart contracts designed to execute the transfer of certain digital assets. Transfer agents facilitate and verify the transfer of the digital assets. Smart contract in the system include a guild proposal contract, a listing contract, a settlement execution contract, a request contract, and a virtual good contract.
