  • Publication number: 20180033512
Abstract: The invention discloses a radiation field control device and radiotherapy equipment. Two or more different-sized light limiting barrels are directly machined on a light limiting barrel support, or two or more light limiting barrel mounting portions are arranged on the light limiting barrel support, then the two or more light limiting barrels are respectively mounted in the light limiting barrel mounting portions in a one-to-one correspondence manner, any one of the light limiting barrels can move to a working position through a light limiting barrel switching device, in this case, when the light limiting barrel having suitable size is required, the unsuitable light limiting barrel does not need to be detached, and the required light limiting barrel can be used conveniently and quickly by directly controlling the light limiting barrel switching device.

  • Patent number: 9693431
Abstract: A Near Field Communication (NFC) tag placed inside a light fixture is provided with information by using a commissioning device such as a smartphone or other dedicated tool. For example, in one implementation, a light fixture in a smart lighting control system can be provided with a microcontroller that has access to the memory of a NFC tag. A commissioning device or tool with GPS and NFC capabilities obtains and writes GPS coordinates to the memory of the NFC tag. After the fixture is connected to the network, the smart system can then access the written GPS coordinates from the memory in the NFC tag. Based on this information, a user with access to the microcontroller (e.g., via computer network) can view the map of fixtures based on the obtained coordinates.

  • Patent number: 5847403
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for intensity modulated radiation treatment. A field on a patient (544) for irradiation is first defined. A beam of radiation (530) is then provided. This beam (530) passing through an opening defined by a beam-shielding device (540, 542). In the preferred embodiment, the beam shielding device is a single jaw (540) and a single collimator section (542). Single jaw (540) and single collimator section (542) are moved in one direction at different velocities to vary the opening for radiation beam (530).

  • Patent number: 5672878
Abstract: An ionization chamber for monitoring a radiation beam includes a housing having a primary beam passageway and a number of secondary beam cells that are adjacent to the primary beam passageway. The primary beam passageway passes entirely through the housing. In the preferred embodiment, a large-area beam measuring electrode and an array of small-area beam measuring electrodes are each coaxial with the primary beam passageway. Also, in the preferred embodiment, each secondary beam cell includes a beam measuring electrode. Because the portions of the radiation beam that enter the secondary beam cells do not pass through the ionization chamber, these portions do not contaminate the treatment beam, allowing the beam measuring electrodes within the cells to be dimensioned and configured so as to maximize signal strength.
