Abstract: The present invention is directed to the efficient delivery of high quality videos to mobile devices. These videos may be displayed in high definition and may be used to cause the display of advertisements on mobile devices. Because of the improved user experience, users may be more willing to view them than they would if advertisements were displayed in lower quality. Additionally, users can be incentivized to watch these videos by being awarded virtual currencies in exchange for having given their time to view the videos.

The systems and methods provide an encrypted copy of a digital content unit to a first user and transcript the encrypted copy to generate the legitimate copy to a second user. The encrypted copy is encrypted with a first encrypt key that may be associated with the first user and the legitimate copy is encrypted with a second encrypt key that may be associated with the second user.

Abstract: Described is a multi-homed broadband router for use by an internal network to communicate with an external communications network, such as the Internet. The router has a first external-side port for exchanging packets over a first communication link with a first service provider connected to the external communications network, a second external-side port for exchanging packets over a second communication link with a second service provider connected to the external communications network, and an internal-side port for exchanging packets with a client device connected to the internal network. When a client device attempts to communicate with a host system on the external communications network, the router determines which one of the service providers to use to establish communications between the client device and that host system.
