Patent number: 11792037Abstract: A safety automation system for an occupiable structure includes a computing management system, a first detection device, and a second detection device. The management system includes a computer processor, and a computer readable storage medium configured to run embedded software, The first detection device is adapted to detect a hazard condition and output an associated hazard condition detected signal to the computing management system. The second detection device is adapted to detect the presence of an occupant in the occupiable structure and the occupant's proximity to the first detection device, and output an occupied signal to the computing management system. The computing management system adjusts the sensitivity of the first detection device based on occupancy and proximity of the occupant to the first detection device.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2021Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: CARRIER CORPORATIONInventors: Anis Zribi, Travis Silver, Jonathon Hughes, John Andres, Chris Rovenstine, Sean Curley, Michael L. Publication number: 20230171935Abstract: In some examples, a system derives a first representation of an assembly of components based on a first source of information, and derives a second representation of the assembly of components based on a second source of information that is of a different type than the first source of information, where the second representation includes any or a combination of an indication of a source of a respective component of the assembly of components, or placement location information of a component in the assembly. The system compares the first representation to the second representation to identify a deviation between the first representation and the second representation, the deviation corresponding to an alteration of the assembly of components.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2021Publication date: June 1, 2023Inventors: David Allen Moore, Jonathon Hughes

Patent number: 11481520Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a printed circuit assembly (PCA). The PCA includes a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCA further includes an identification device embedded within the PCB. The identification device stores identity information that uniquely identifies identification device and the PCB. Moreover, a PCB identifier defined using the identity information is also stored in a platform attestation file hosted locally within the PCA, on a remote server, or both locally within the PCA and on the remote server. Additionally, the PCA includes an authentication device disposed on the PCB, wherein the platform attestation file is cryptographically bound to the authentication device.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2020Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: David A. Patent number: 11438524Abstract: Example implementations relate to automated rack imaging. According to an example, a system for imaging a face of a rack includes a camera and lighting array, a positioning system, a computer system and a wheeled platform. The array includes multiple cameras located in a first plane orthogonal to a second plane and each camera has a first field of view in a first axis of the second plane. Collectively, the first fields of view extend from one end of the face to another end of the face. The positioning system is operable to move the array from a starting point to an ending point via multiple intermediate points along an axis in a third plane parallel to the first plane. The computer system (i) causes the cameras to capture images at the starting, intermediate, and ending point; (ii) stitches the captured images together; and (iii) stores the resulting image.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2020Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: David Moore, Jonathon Hughes, Thomas Wright
