  • Publication number: 20240246161
Abstract: An electrical machining device is provided for machining a surface of a workpiece. The electrical machining device includes a nozzle connectable to an electrolyte reservoir, the nozzle configured to dispense electrolyte towards a surface of a workpiece, in use, and an electrolyte flow path for conveying electrolyte from an electrolyte reservoir to the nozzle. The electrolyte flow path has a gas inlet therealong and the electrical machining device is configured to inject a gas into electrolyte flowing along the electrolyte flow path via the gas inlet, in use, so as to form gas bubbles in said electrolyte.

  • Patent number: 11511361
Abstract: An electro-discharge machining (EDM) device that includes a housing, an erosion electrode, a ground electrode, and a dielectric inlet. The housing is configured to be positioned on a surface of a workpiece and proximal to a fastener to be eroded. The planar erosion electrode is positioned at least partially within the housing, with the erosion electrode being movable relative to the housing in a first axis. The first axis is substantially normal to a longitudinal axis of the fastener. The ground electrode is conductively connected to the fastener. The dielectric inlet is configured to deliver a dielectric fluid to a region between the erosion electrode and the fastener.

  • Publication number: 20060080315
Abstract: A methodology and processing model utilize a unique set of data structures and processing algorithms, which are capable of being leveraged on a Massively Parallel Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) to provide fast, accurate, and scalable access to text data that is stored in these data structures. The methodology relies on a positional co-occurrence-based Statistical Natural Language Processing (SNLP) algorithm, a set of data structures that define the data to be searched and contain the co-occurrence patterns that are created by the SNLP algorithm, a real-time relevancy formula and weighting structure that returns the most relevant documents to the user.
