  • Patent number: 10004114
Abstract: An induction heating cooker includes a plurality of heating coils to heat a container, an inverter having a plurality of switching elements to be operated such that a high-frequency voltage is selectively supplied to the plurality of heating coils, and a control unit to control the operations of the plurality of switching elements such that the high-frequency voltage is time-divisionally supplied to a heating coil, on which the container is positioned, among the plurality of heating coils. By this configuration, it is possible to reduce the number of inverters and manufacturing costs. In addition, since the thickness of the cooker is reduced, it is possible to reduce the overall size of the cooker.

  • Patent number: 9277598
Abstract: An induction heating cooker including a cooking plate on which a cooking vessel is placed, a plurality of heating coils disposed while being adjacent to one other below the cooking plate, and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) on which circuits configured to drive the heating coils are placed, wherein the PCB is divided into a high frequency circuit part on which circuits characterized by high frequency are placed and a low frequency circuit part on which circuits characterized by low frequency are placed, and the high frequency circuit part is spaced apart from the low frequency circuit part by a predetermined distance. The interference between the high frequency circuit part and the low frequency circuit part is minimized while enhancing the operation efficiency of each heating coil. The assembly efficiency and the working efficiency are enhanced when an inverter circuit is wired to a corresponding heating coil.

  • Patent number: 9022017
Abstract: An oven having enhanced cooling efficiency. The oven includes a cooking chamber, a door to open or close a front side of the cooking chamber, a cooling fan located above the cooking chamber to suction and blow outside air, a discharge duct to discharge the air, blown by the cooling fan, forward of the door, a plurality of flow-paths defined in the door to allow outside air to be introduced into and moved in the flow-path in association with discharge of the air through the discharge duct, and a suction pipe to connect at least one of the flow-paths and the cooling fan to each other. Suction force of the cooling fan is applied to the flow-paths of the door through the suction pipe as well as the interior of an electric machine room, allowing the air in the flow-path to be discharged to the outside through the suction pipe and the discharge duct. This assures more active air movement in the door and maximizes the cooling effect of the door.
