According to an exemplary embodiment, an electronic label system includes: an electronic label configured to comprise a display, an Near Field Communication (NFC) tag, a memory, and a processor that interfaces with the NFC tag; and a terminal device configured to acquire identification information of the electronic label through the NFC tag, to check, based on the acquired identification information of the electronic label, whether there is product information required to be updated regarding the electronic label, and, in response to a check result showing that there is product information required to be updated, to transmit the product information required to be updated to the electronic label through the NFC tag.

The method of operating an electronic paper display involves, setting a display area to be a first color by operating, for a first duration, a transparent common electrode at a first level and segment electrodes, which comprise a data electrode and a background electrode, at a second level; and in response to the display area being set to be the first color, setting the display area to be a second color by operating, for a second duration different from the first duration, the transparent common electrode at the second level and the background electrode at the first level.

Abstract: A technology regarding electronic labels that electronically show information regarding products displayed in a store. The proposed invention independently displays product information of different types through two displays and thus reduces power consumption by using LCD panels. In addition, other aspects of the proposed invention make better use of space by mounting a display panel on a bezel area, and also lower a product's unit cost of production as products, more specifically the two displays therein, may be controlled using only one controller. Furthermore, the proposed invention may allow for the displayed product information to be changed even when the electronic label is in sleep mode.

Abstract: An electronic information delivery system, and more particularly, an electronic information label attached to a shelf or the like to deliver information of merchandise displayed in a store is provided. An auxiliary electronic information label is connected to a connector of a main electronic information label. The auxiliary electronic information label includes segment electrodes formed as a circuit pattern on a flexible printed circuit board, and drives a flat panel display panel. One end of the flexible printed circuit board is connected to the connector of the main electronic information label.

Abstract: An electronic shelf label tag may include a second antenna receiving a radio signal from an electronic shelf label gateway, a second wireless communications unit processing the radio signal received from the second antenna, and a second neighboring channel removal unit connected between the second antenna and the second wireless communications unit to remove a neighboring channel signal having a frequency lower than a frequency of a communications channel signal by a preset frequency interval. A signal having a frequency lower than that of the communications channel by a preset amount among signals of wireless communications networks different from a currently used communications network may be removed, whereby reception sensitivity of the electronic shelf label tag may be improved.
