  • Publication number: 20160144392
Abstract: An apparatus for organic layer deposition is provided that can improve precision of a gap between a substrate and a mask by correcting a position of a mask stage having a mask mounted thereon based on a substrate shape, and that can reduce a measurement error of a mask surface by pre-measuring a position of a mask and determining an initial position of the mask based on the measured position. The apparatus includes a shape measuring sensor, a substrate carrier, a deposition material discharge source, a mask including a plurality of pattern slits, a camera measuring an alignment error between the substrate and the mask, a distance measuring sensor measuring an alignment error between the substrate and the mask, and a mask stage controlling a position of the mask.

  • Patent number: 7946669
Abstract: An apparatus to align a substrate and a print head having a plurality of orifices so as to perform a printing operation by ejecting ink on the substrate comprises a camera unit provided between the substrate and the print head to photograph the plurality of orifices of the print head and the substrate so as to align the print head and the substrate, and a camera moving part to movably support the camera unit and to move the camera unit between the substrate and the print head. Thus, the aligning apparatus has a simple configuration that may be easily installed and may be controlled precisely. The aligning apparatus may also be used with opaque substrates.

  • Patent number: 7290489
Abstract: A substrate inspecting apparatus to inspect a substrate printed on by a print head to determine whether a printing operation is being accurately performed includes a camera unit to photograph the substrate before the substrate is printed on and to photograph the substrate after the substrate is printed on, and a control part to compare a first image of the substrate before the substrate is printed on with a second image of the substrate after the substrate is printed on through the camera unit and to determine whether the printing operation is being accurately performed on the substrate. Thus, the substrate inspecting apparatus is capable of precisely inspecting the substrate during the printing operation and reducing processing time.

  • Publication number: 20060146077
Abstract: A jetting performance tester designed to evaluate jetting performance of a plurality of jetting heads each having a plurality of nozzles, after real-time measurement of jetting conditions of droplets ejected from the plurality of jetting heads. The jetting performance tester includes a camera unit to detect droplets ejected from the jetting heads, a driving unit to provide relative movement between the jetting heads and the camera unit in two or more directions orthogonal to each other, and a controller to evaluate jetting performance of the jetting heads based on jetting conditions of the droplets detected by the camera unit.

  • Publication number: 20030193560
Abstract: A precise position control apparatus and precise position control method using the same includes a control unit to control an amount of movement of a moving object, an optical system to photograph the moving object and to generate an image signal, and a monitor to output the image signal onto its screen. The control unit measures an actual moving distance of the moving object and a number of pixels corresponding to the actual moving distance to calculate an actual distance for unit pixel appearing on the screen of the monitor. Additionally, the control unit controls the amount of movement of the moving object using the actual distance for unit pixel when the moving object is moved from one position to another.
