  • Publication number: 20240133642
Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated connector and a heat exchanger including the same, in which a connector main body is formed by pressing one pipe, a cap is press-fitted into the connector main body, such that the integrated connector is formed so that an interior of the connector main body is blocked by the cap. Therefore, the number of components used to manufacture a connector, which connects and securely couples a header tank and a gas-liquid separator, may be reduced, the integrated connector may be easily manufactured, and a brazing defect may be reduced at portions where the integrated connector is joined to the header tank and the gas-liquid separator of the heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 8271270
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for encoding or decoding a broadband voice signal are provided. The method includes extracting a linear prediction coefficient (LPC) from the broadband voice signal; outputting a linear prediction (LP) residual signal; pitch-searching a spectrum of the LP residual signal; extracting spectral magnitudes and phases of the LP residual signal, which correspond to a damping factor; obtaining, from among the extracted spectral magnitudes and phases, a first spectral magnitude and a first phase at which a power value of the LP residual signal is minimized; quantizing the first spectral magnitude and the first phase; and decoding the broadband voice signal. The apparatus includes a linear prediction coefficient (LPC) analyzer; an LPC inverse filter; a pitch searching unit; a sinusoidal analyzer; and a phase and spectral magnitude quantizer. The system includes a broadband voice encoding apparatus and a broadband voice decoding apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6741960
Abstract: The present invention relates to a harmonic-noise speech coder and coding algorithm of the mixed signal of voiced/unvoiced sound using harmonic model. The harmonic-noise speech coder comprises a noise spectral estimating means for coding the noise component by predicting the spectral by LPC analysis method after separating the noise, which is unvoiced sound component from the inputted LPC residual signal using cepstrum. And more improved speech quality can be obtained by analyzing noise effectively using the noise spectral model predicted through cepstrum-LPC analysis method of the mixed signal of voiced/unvoiced sound to the existing harmonic model and then coding the signal.

  • Patent number: 6662153
Abstract: A time-separated speech coder that codes a transitional signal of voiced/unvoiced sound through harmonic speech coding, the coder including a transitional excitation signal analyzer/synthesizer for coding the transitional signal by extracting the harmonic model parameters of both transitional analyzers after detecting a transitional point and generating sinusoidal waveforms according to a variable transitional point separating both transitional analyzers. By the transitional point at which energy varies abruptly and the time-separated coding based on the transitional point, more improved speech quality than in the general harmonic speech coder can be obtained using the time-separated speech coder by increasing the representation capability of the transitional signal with large energy variation, after adapting it to the variable transitional point.
