  • Publication number: 20070281852
Abstract: A method of making an electrode catalyst material using aqueous solutions. The electrode catalyst material includes a support comprising at least one transition metal and at least one chalcogen disposed on a surface of the transition metal. The method includes reducing a metal powder, mixing the metal powder with an aqueous solution containing at least one inorganic compound of the chalcogen to form a mixture, and providing a reducing agent to the mixture to form nanoparticles of the electrode catalyst. The electrode catalyst may be used in a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell.

  • Publication number: 20050226617
Abstract: A digital image transmitter is disclosed herein. The digital image transmitter includes: a sender for transforming a plurality of channels of electrical signals output from a computer to a single channel of optical signal and sending the single channel of optical signal; an optical cable provided with a single optical fiber and sending the single channel of optical signal of the sender through the optical fiber; and a receiver for recovering the single channel of optical signal transmitted through the optical cable to the plurality of channels of electrical signals and outputting the electrical signals to a digital image display device. Therefore, the present invention is capable of increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing and installation costs by simplifying a manufacturing process. Further, the present invention is capable of stably transmitting a high-resolution digital image signal since the skew does not generated during long distance transmission.

  • Patent number: 6916764
Abstract: Provided is a Pt—Ru based quaternary metal anode catalyst for a direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC). The Pt—Ru based quaternary metal anode catalyst has high activity to methanol oxidation and strong resistance to catalyst poisoning due to carbon monoxide (CO), which is a byproduct of the methanol oxidation. Therefore, the Pt—Ru based quaternary metal anode catalyst can give high power density and can replace existing commercial catalysts.

  • Publication number: 20050124360
Abstract: A mobile phone capable of deleting a sent short message stored in a receiver's mobile phone and a method of transmitting and deleting a short message using the same are provided. In a method of transmitting and deleting a short message, a sender's mobile phone generates a short message, transmits it, and stores its transmission-related information. A receiver's mobile phone stores the short message. The sender's mobile phone transmits a delete request message to the receiver's mobile phone, requesting deletion of the short message. The receiver's mobile phone searches for the short message in response to the delete request message and deletes the short message from a storage area.
