Publication number: 20040233882Abstract: A method for relaying a route request RREQ message by an intermediate node which is connected with at least one node using a tree topology in a mobile communication system including a destination node and a source node which sends the RREQ message to the destination node via at least one intermediate node, to thus establish an optimal route for communications. The RREQ message is received along the route other than the tree route, and the first information is updated using its information. The intermediate node relays to a next intermediate node the RREQ message containing the updated first information.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2004Publication date: November 25, 2004Applicants: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD., CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK (CUNY)Inventors: Jong-hun Park, Xu-hui Hu, Yong Liu, Chun-hui Zhu, Myung-jong Lee

Publication number: 20040213063Abstract: Disclosed is a driving voltage controller of sense amplifiers for a memory device which prevents the sense amplifier from being over-driven when an external power voltage is used for an internal driving voltage of the sense amplifier. Reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage. Core voltage generator generates a core voltage to be used for driving voltage of sense amplifier. Comparator compares the core voltage generated by core voltage generator with the reference voltage generated by reference voltage generator. Clamp adjusts a level of the core voltage generated by the core voltage generator based on an output signal of comparator. In the case where an external power used for a driving voltage of the sense amplifier is excessively high, the comparator compares the external power voltage with the reference voltage. When the driving voltage of sense amplifier exceeds the reference voltage, the clamp drops the driving voltage of sense amplifier. Thus, the core voltage can be stably supplied.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2003Publication date: October 28, 2004Inventor: Jong Hun Park

Publication number: 20020167931Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for avoiding mutual interference between wireless communication systems. A measurement unit measures the strength of a signal received through a channel to be used in a transmission slot for a switching time of a reception mode and a transmission mode. A judgment unit compares the strength of the received signal with the strength of a reference signal, and judges data transmission. A control unit outputs a signal for performing a transmission operation of the data according to the judgment of the judgment unit. Publication number: 20020089963Abstract: A wireless communication device, a wireless communication system using the same, and a communication method therefor are provided. When a wireless communication device operated as a slave intends to communicate with other slave communication devices, the communication-intending slave device transmits a packet where an address of a destination slave device is recorded in a header region as a destination address to the wireless communication device operated as a master. When the address recorded in the header region of the packet is an address of another slave device, not the communication-intending slave device, the master device transmits the packet to the wireless communication device of the destination address. Accordingly, the communication is performed using the address recorded in the header region of the transmitted packet as the destination address. As a result, peer-to-peer communication between the slave devices is performed, without increasing a data processing load in the Bluetooth communication.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2001Publication date: July 11, 2002Applicant: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Hyun-sook Kang, Tae-jin Lee, Jong-hun Park, Kyung-hun Jang

Publication number: 20020090914Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus, a wireless communication method thereof, and a wireless communication system employing the same. A master device of the wireless communication system requests one slave device of a network to perform a function of a master device for a predetermined time, and sends Piconet information about other slave devices of the network, while the one slave device receives the Piconet information from the master device and communicates with the other slave devices of the network for a predetermined time as a temporary master device. Accordingly, the one slave device becomes a dynamic master device and communicates with the other slave devices by using a frequency hopping sequence and a clock of a previous master device as they are, there is no need to transmit the frequency hopping sequence and the clock of the new master device to the slave devices, and accordingly, much time can be saved.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 7, 2002Publication date: July 11, 2002Applicant: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Hyun-sook Kang, Tae-jin Lee, Jong-hun Park, Kyung-hun Jang
