Patent number: 11778558Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, one or more downlink grants scheduling one or more corresponding downlink transmissions from the base station to the UE. In some examples, the UE may enter a state of sleep prior to receiving the one or more downlink transmissions. In such examples, the UE may wake up from the state of sleep at a first time that is at least a threshold period of time before a second time corresponding to a beginning of the one or more downlink transmissions. After waking up from the state of sleep, the UE may activate a notch filter and use the activated notch filter to filter a spur generated at the UE. Publication number: 20230226176Abstract: The present inventors have found that innate immune response and T cell exhaustion pathway are more greatly over-expressed in pigs than cattle, such that the pigs are less likely to form adaptive and humoral immune responses than cattle. It would be suggested herein an innovative strategy for improvement of abnormal immune responses in pigs by simultaneously inducing potent cellular and humoral immune responses and applying T cell agonists as a new vaccine adjuvant. This result may provide an important clue for understanding a difference in the immune response between the cattle and pigs, while suggesting a method for maximizing the immune response and vaccine efficacy, which are less expressed in pigs than cattle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2020Publication date: July 20, 2023Inventors: Minja LEE, Hyundong JO, Su-Mi KIM, Byounghan KIM, Jong-Hyeon PARK

Publication number: 20220217656Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may use transmissions causing power density exposure (PDE) to nearby users. To reduce the PDE of an antenna module (e.g., below a maximum PDE threshold), the UE may implement a shielding strip around the antenna module. For example, the antenna module may include a substrate having a first surface and a set of antenna elements on the first surface. The shielding strip may enclose the set of antenna elements of the antenna module and extend away from the first surface above the antenna elements. The shielding strip may reduce PDE outside a field of view of the antenna module. Additionally, in some cases, the placement of the antenna module in the UE and the materials used for constructing the UE may further reduce PDE.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2022Publication date: July 7, 2022Inventors: Rahul Malik, Mohammad Ali Tassoudji, Jatupum Jenwatanavet, Jong Hyeon Park
