  • Publication number: 20160111742
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for removing hydrogen sulfide, which comprises absorbing hydrogen sulfide into an alkaline solution, and introducing the solution resulting from the absorption into the anode of a fuel cell to oxidize sulfide ion. The method comprises a step of absorbing hydrogen sulfide into an alkaline solution. In a fuel cell, electrical energy is produced from the alkaline sulfide solution resulting from the absorbing step. Thus, according to the present invention, the cost and efficiency problems occurring in conventional hydrogen sulfide removal processes are solved.
