The drive circuit measures a temperature of the drive circuit, and a voltage and a current at an output node of the drive circuit generating the power voltage. The measured temperature, voltage and current, and the dummy gate signal are stored in the drive circuit in a predetermined order. This information can be used to detect error states that the display can indicate and use to protect itself from damage.
