  • Publication number: 20250152105
Abstract: Provided are a method, device, and recording medium of early prediction of sepsis or septic shock through bio-data analysis on a computing device. In an embodiment, the method comprises training one or more time series deep learning models by: encoding sepsis or septic shock patient vital signs as time series-based bio-data to generate embedded time series patches; encoding associated patient medical histories utilizing a pre-trained language encoder to generate encoded patient medical history patches; combining the embedded time series patches and the patient medical history patches into an array; and randomly masking the embedded time series patches and asking the model to reconstructing the masked patches based at least in part on the associated patient medical histories; and utilizing the one or more trained time series deep learning models to predict sepsis or septic shock for a new patient.

  • Publication number: 20070014438
Abstract: A method of iris recognition using a cumulative-sum-based change point analysis and an apparatus using the same are disclosed. The method includes: transforming an iris image to a polar coordinated image having n×m pixel size and dividing the polar coordinated image into at least one cell; grouping the divided iris images into at least one of first groups having a predetermined number of cells, and at least one of second groups each having more cells than the first group has; performing a cumulative-sum-based change point analysis using a predetermined characteristic pattern value of each cell as a representative value; and generating a pattern vector by assigning a predetermined value to a cell having the change point and assigning a different value to other cells.

  • Publication number: 20060285460
Abstract: A method of managing optimum power control (OPC) data in a lead-in zone of a rewritable high-density optical disc, wherein an OPC back data zone is allocated in the lead-in zone of the rewritable high-density optical disc and OPC data is written in the OPC back data zone so that a subsequent OPC process can be immediately performed based on the written OPC data. The method includes allocating a specified zone used in performing an OPC process within the lead-in zone of the rewritable high-density optical disc, writing OPC data for the OPC process in the specified zone, reading the OPC data written in the specified zone, and performing the OPC process based on the read OPC data.
