    Abstract: An electron emission device includes a first substrate having an electron emission unit for emitting electrons, and a second substrate facing the first substrate and having a light emission unit for emitting visible rays due to the electrons emitted by the electron emission unit. The light emission unit has a plurality of reflective layers formed on a surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate, and phosphor layers formed on the surface of the second substrate between the reflective layers as well as on lateral sides of the reflective layers. The reflective layer is formed of an achromatic color, particularly a white color. Black layers are disposed between the second substrate and the reflective layers.
