Abstract: Disclosed are a holder strap for a portable device, and a fixation guider for guiding the strap through an inserting hole of the portable device in order to fix the strap at the portable device without using an additional commercial tool. The strap can be used to hang the portable device on a hand, a neck, a bag, a purse, or the like. The fixation guider can be readily inserted into the inserting hole of the portable device. The fixation guider for the strap includes a strap holding portion for enclosing and holding the strap therein, and a projection portion extending from the strap holding portion and configured to insert in the inserting hole of the portable device.

Abstract: A battery container capable of stably accommodating AA type batteries, a CRV3 battery, and a customized battery manufactured for exclusively use with a particular device. The battery container includes a main body which accommodates two AA type batteries, one CRV3 battery, or one customized battery wider than the CRV3 battery and having a first wrong-insertion preventing element in a lateral extension portion, and a cover which is opened or closed to allow a battery to be inserted into or drawn out of the main body and which keeps the battery in the main body during use.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel polymeric ultraviolet(UV) screening agent comprising at least one monomer represented by the following formula (I) in the molecule: ##STR1## in which X represents the following formula (II) or (III), ##STR2## wherein R represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 cycloalkyl which can be optionally substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, and to a process for preparing the same.

Abstract: A system and method for recording successive images of the same object at varying depths of field. An automatic distance measuring circuit measures the distance from an object, and a brightness measuring circuit measures the ambient brightness around the object. A shutter release switch is activated in first and second steps. A microcontroller controls the system and is connected to the automatic distance measuring circuit, the brightness measuring circuit, a shutter actuator, a diaphragm actuator, and a film motor actuator. After pressing the shutter release button once, a plurality of images are automatically recorded, each having the same exposure and a different depth of field.
