  • Publication number: 20080107810
Abstract: In a method for effectively depositing an anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation material, such as silicon dioxide, on high-temperature components of a gas turbine, including blades rotating at a high speed during the operation of the gas turbine, an organic compound including a metal ingredient, such as silicon, is added to a fuel for the gas turbine, such as LNG, diesel or kerosene, or the organic compound is sprayed into combustion air so that the organic compound can burn together with the fuel, in order to improve the durability of the high-temperature components. Silicon dioxide, produced by burning a silicon organic compound together with the fuel, is uniformly deposited on all the high-temperature components of the gas turbine, which are exposed to the combustion gas of a high temperature, thus forming an anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation coating layer of a thickness of several to several tens of ?m on the high-temperature components during the operation of the gas turbine.

  • Publication number: 20070126554
Abstract: A multiple RFID reader system for controlling operations of multiple RFID readers is provided. To minimize radio interference between multiple RFID readers, when a new RFID reader connects to the system, the system calculates probabilities of radio interference between the new RFID reader and already connected RFID readers and creates a radio interference logical operation list using the calculated radio interference probabilities. When it has been requested that the new RFID reader be activated, the system compares the created radio interference logical operation list with a list of currently running RFID readers and decides whether or not to activate the new RFID reader based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20070105259
Abstract: A method for growing a high quality indium gallium nitride by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) is provided. In the method, the indium gallium nitride grows at a growth rate of at least about 1.5 nm/min at a temperature of at least about 800° C. while an internal pressure of an MOCVD reactor is maintained at about 400 mbar or less.

  • Publication number: 20070080283
Abstract: An image sensor with a high dynamic range is provided. The image sensor includes a semiconductor substrate, a plurality of light-receiving elements formed on the semiconductor substrate, and light-shield films formed on upper ends of some of the light-receiving elements to partially block light incident upon each of the some light-receiving elements. Hence, an image sensing device including the image sensor can detect an accurate image regardless of whether the environment is bright or dark.

  • Publication number: 20070078797
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for precise parcel delivery via mobile devices in a ubiquitous environment and an authentication server therefor. A reception center receives a request for parcel delivery from a sender and attaches a tag storing assigned individual ID and parcel information to the parcel. A deliverer terminal deciphers the tag attached to the parcel to confirm the parcel information and requests receiver authentication via the parcel information and receives an authentication result. Also, a receiver terminal transmits an electronic signature to an authentication server to request receiver authentication for the parcel delivered to a receiver. The authentication server assigns the individual ID to the parcel, transmits the individual ID to the reception center and authenticates the receiver according to the electronic signature transmitted from the receiver terminal. This allows precise parcel delivery to any place at any time.

  • Publication number: 20070069234
Abstract: A nitride semiconductor device is provided. In the device, first and second conductivity type nitride layers are formed. An active layer is formed between the first and second conductivity type nitride layers. The active layer includes at least one quantum barrier layer and at least one quantum well layer. Also, a current spreading layer is interposed between the first conductivity type nitride layer and the active layer. The current spreading layer has an In content greater than the quantum well layer of the active layer.

  • Publication number: 20060129575
Abstract: A method and system for supporting an XQuery trigger in XML-DBMS based on relational DBMS is provided. In an Ubiquitous environment where XML data are incessantly generated by an enormous number of objects, so as to overcome inconvenience and its resultant reduction of performance in which a user should query after checking a change of XML-DBMS one by one, in XML-DBMS based on relational DBMS, the present invention supports an XQuery trigger technique based on SQL trigger automatically executing insert, update and delete statements, and a storage or external procedure related with the change of data when a change of data is generated at a specific table in a conventional relational DBMS.
