Abstract: A semiconductor memory device having a selective error correction code (ECC) function is provided. The semiconductor memory device divides a memory cell array into blocks according to data retention characteristics of memory cells. A block in which there are a plurality of fail cells generated at a refresh rate of a refresh cycle that is longer than a refresh cycle defined by the standards of the semiconductor device is selected from among the divided blocks. The selected block repairs the fail cells by performing the ECC function. The other blocks repair the fail cells by using redundancy cells. Accordingly, a refresh operation is performed on the memory cells of the memory cell array at the refresh rate of the refresh cycle that is longer than the refresh cycle by the standards of the semiconductor device.

Abstract: A network control apparatus and method is provided. The method includes operations of informing a server of capability information including an encryption/decryption method, wherein the server provides the network control apparatus with control information used to control a network device using a general-purpose control web application, transmitting to the server a control information requesting message that requests the control information, receiving from the server the control information which has been encrypted using the encryption/decryption method, decrypting the encrypted control information according to the encryption/decryption method, and transmitting a control command for controlling the network device according to the decrypted control information.

The independent communication module transmits the generated sound information to the control device through a second communication channel that is separate from the first communication channel.

Abstract: Provided is a method of registering an unregistered device in an access point (AP) by using a registered device registered in the AP, the method including: transmitting a control signal for controlling the registered device to the registered device so as to transmit a mode change request, which requests the AP to change a mode to an authentication approval mode approving an authentication operation with the unregistered device, to the AP; transmitting a mode confirm request, which confirms whether an operation mode of the AP is the authentication approval mode, to the AP; receiving a mode confirm response as a response to the mode confirm request from the AP that receives the mode change request; and selectively performing an authentication operation with the AP, based on the received mode confirm response.

Abstract: An authentication requesting apparatus, an authentication processing apparatus and an authentication execution method based on a physically unclonable function (PUF) are provided. The authentication requesting apparatus includes a signal transmission and reception unit, a response generation unit, and an authentication request unit. The signal transmission and reception unit receives a first pilot signal from an authentication processing apparatus that processes authentication. The response generation unit generates a challenge value based on the first pilot signal, acquires an output value by inputting the challenge value into a PUF circuit, and generates a response value from the output value. The authentication request unit requests authentication by transmitting the response value to the authentication processing apparatus, receives authentication result information from the authentication processing apparatus, and determines whether authentication has been successful.
