    Abstract: An electronic device is provided such that a user can experience a quick launch of an application therein. The electronic device includes a housing, a display, an input unit, a processor, a non-volatile memory to store an application program, and a volatile memory to store instructions that allow the processor to load a first part of the application program in the volatile memory based on a first change of state of the electronic device, to load a second part of the application program in the volatile memory based on a second change of state of the electronic device and to display an image or text generated by the loaded first or second part. Since at least part of the application is preloaded before the second input is generated, only the remainder of the application has to be loaded in order to execute the application after the second input is generated.

    Abstract: A knitted fabric for promoting heat dissipation is to be an insole and covers a wearer's skin when in use, and has two surface layers, an intermediate layer, and multiple channels. The two surface layers are disposed at a spaced interval, and include a first surface layer and a second surface layer oriented to the wearer's skin when the knitted fabric is in use. The second surface layer has multiple braids disposed parallelly, and each one of the multiple braids is straight and extends in a widthwise direction. The intermediate layer is formed with multiple monofilaments knitted between the two surface layers and divergently stretch out from each braid toward the first surface layer. Each monofilament intercrosses with another at a point near the first surface layer. A channel is formed among the intermediate layer and adjacent two said braids and has a V-shaped cross section.

    Abstract: A piezoelectric motorization system has a mechanically flexible body that has one or more surfaces for placing piezoelectric actuators. The system has groups of piezoelectric actuators each positioned on one of the surfaces of the mechanically flexible body that is connected to the electronic circuitry. The electronic circuitry controls the driving of the mechanical loads by the mechanically flexible body by injecting sets of control signals into different groups of actuators positioned on the mechanically flexible body. Each control signal operates groups of driving frequencies with an adjustable amplitude ratio and an adjustable phase difference among driving frequencies. And, under a set of boundary conditions exhibited by a set of structural dimensions of the mechanically flexible body, each control signal induces multi-mode resonance of the mechanically flexible body for driving the mechanical loads multi-dimensionally.

    Abstract: A piezoelectric motorization system for driving mechanical loads multi-dimensionally by an electronic circuitry is disclosed. The piezoelectric motorization system has a piezoelectric apparatus that is constructed by a mechanically flexible body that has multiple piezoelectric actuators attached its surfaces, where these actuators are controlled by an electronic circuitry. The mechanically flexible body has a finite structure with a sets of boundary conditions to determine its out-of-plane resonant modes. The electronic circuitry inject at least two sets of control signals into different groups of actuators at or near different resonant frequencies. Using these control signals, traveling waves can be generated on the piezoelectric apparatus to move mechanical loads placed on its surface. Or, the traveling waves are used to propel the piezoelectric apparatus for motorization.
