  • Patent number: 7012222
Abstract: An apparatus and method of controlling the driving of a heat source using an AC voltage. If the temperature of the heat source is lower than a reference temperature and the level of the AC voltage is greater than a reference level, the level of a sensing signal is changed. Then, it is determined whether a predetermined period of time has lapsed from the moment when the level of the sensing signal has been changed. Thereafter, if it is determined that the predetermined period of time has lapsed from the moment when the level of the sensing signal has been changed, the heat source is driven when the level of the AC voltage is a zero level.
